Lesson: The Journey Is the Reward
Fifty days.
Fifty lessons.
Twenty-five years.
When I started this series, it was a simple goal:
To reflect.
To share.
To pass on what I’ve learned through two and a half decades of building, leading, failing, growing, and trying again.
But somewhere along the way—this became more than a series.
It became a mirror. A memoir. A thank you.
And a promise to keep going with humility, intention, and faith.
Here’s what I know now, more than ever:
•Business will stretch you, but family will ground you.
•Hard times are inevitable—but so is redemption if you keep showing up.
•Success is never a straight line—and it’s never done alone.
•You can’t control the outcome, but you can control your effort, attitude, and how you treat others.
•Legacy isn’t what you build—it’s who you build up.
I’m just a guy who wakes up early, prays hard, tries to listen more than I speak, and hopes that something I’ve learned will help someone else on the path.
