#WATCH | Darjeeling, West Bengal | President Droupadi Murmu says, "Today was the International Santal Conference. When I came here after attending it, I realised it would have been better if it had been held here, because the area is so vast... I don't know what went through the administration's mind... They said no, the place is congested. But I think five lakh people could gather here easily. But I don't know why they took us there... I don't know what went through the administration's mind that they chose a place for the conference where the Santal people couldn't go... I am very sad that the people here were unable to reach the conference because it was held so far away. Perhaps the administration had hoped that no one would be able to attend, and the President would simply turn around and leave... If the President visits a place, the Chief Minister and the Ministers should also come. But she did not... I am also a daughter of Bengal... Mamata Didi is also my sister, my younger sister. I don't know if she was angry with me, that's why this happened..." (Source: Darjeeling District Administration)

It is a matter of national shame that Jeffery Epstein - a convicted human trafficker, child sex offender and serial rapist from the USA - wrote that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi took his “advice and danced and sang in Israel for the benefit of the US president. They had met a few weeks ago. IT WORKED!” That India’s PM could have a proximity to such a disgraced figure raises serious questions of judgment, transparency, and diplomatic propriety. It is now clear that the Prime Minister had a direct unexplained association with Jeffery Epstein whose infamous list of elite clients has wreaked havoc ever since the Epstein files began to be released. This inexcusable association between Epstein and Narendra Modi is a matter of national dignity and international reputation that demands immediate accountability from the Prime Minister himself. The PM should clarify: 1. What was he taking Jeffery Epstein’s advice for? 2. To what benefit of the US President was he singing and dancing in Israel? 3. The message mentions - “IT WORKED!” So, what worked? Link to the document on US Department of Justice Website: justice.gov/epstein/files/…

The case filed against Chinmoy Krishna Das is a false case. He is accused of having hoisted a saffron flag over the Bangladeshi national flag. We all know that it is considered acceptable to raise the ISIS flag over the Bangladeshi flag—only saffron becomes a problem. But even that saffron flag was not raised by Chinmoy. For more than a year he has been in jail on this ridiculous charge. Now not only has he been denied bail, he has been sent back to jail again by slapping yet another false case on him, accusing him of the murder of Alif. Alif was killed when Chinmoy was in police custody. By filing one false case after another, the Yunus gang is harassing an innocent man. Why are they so afraid of Chinmoy? Because he gave Hindus the courage to protest against injustice? Because at his call hundreds of thousands of Hindus would come out onto the streets? Because he spoke against communalism and in favor of human rights? A jihadist rule is in place. Hindus are being persecuted. Innocent Hindus are being killed. Their homes are being burned down. Chinmoy Krishna Das is one among this procession. He has been framed in false cases and imprisoned without any crime. I am afraid that one day I will hear that Chinmoy Krishna Das has died. He will not die naturally—he will be killed. Political murders happen all too often in Bangladeshi jails.
