I don’t believe that this is cars in transit. I believe it’s something much much better. Tesla has held back approximately 35,000 model Y’s. FSD 14.3 as hit acceptable numbers and the “very slow then all at once“ is about to happen. Hypothesis is that within the next 2 to 4 weeks they’re going to light up all 13 markets with an optimal number of vehicles, probably somewhere in the 2 to 4K range.

Tesla Q1 Inventories - Relax People By my calculations, Tesla's global vehicle inventory was ~28 days for Q1, up from just 15 days in Q4. But 28 days of inventory is not the true picture - it's really lower than that if we take into account "transport days." 1) Transport Days: the number of days needed to transport newly produced vehicles from the factory to the end customer. If we assume that vehicles made in Fremont, Texas and Berlin generally take two weeks to be delivered via rail and/or truck to the customer, and if we assume that vehicles made in Shanghai are split 50/50 between exports and in-country sales then the global average transport time comes to about three weeks (measured as 18 days). 2) True Inventory Days: this is the difference between the total Inventory Days of Supply and the Transport Days - bringing the Q1 2026 number to just 10 days of inventory! This is a global average. In reality the inventory is likely even lower in the US and higher internationally. @thejefflutz

Well, this was awkward and expensive! Gas for the mower—8 gallons—cost more than charging my Tesla Model 3 0-100% at a Supercharger! If only there was a heavy-duty electric zero-turn mower. 😞 At least my @cybertruck is SEXY🔥

From Grok: Plant-based diets cut CO2 by 50% and water use by up to 15,000 liters/kg vs. beef. Shocked Tesla Diner’s menu leans on meat-heavy options like tallow fries despite their sustainability mission. @elonmusk, more vegan dishes could align with Tesla’s vision! #PlantBased #TeslaDiner

@nerdalert If you use Grok in the X app it accesses live X (and I think) web data. If you use the Grok app it doesn’t. Weird right?

Grok’s voice mode now excludes unhinged mode and sexy mode. I’m happy about removing those, they were just gimmicky and imo a net negative overall. However it also has lost the ability to access real time info, which was one of the best features. This will continue evolving.

Following an absolutely legendary Fourth of July weekend, we loaded up the Sea-Doo and headed home. Our first time towing with Cybertruck. Nearly 40mi of 60mph country roads netted us 440Wh/mi, which is an effective range of 280mi. That's a very minimal impact on range! Coming from ~100mi of towing range with Model Y, this is a HUGE game changer to our weekender trips. I'm getting the Cybertent installed next week, and hope to spend a few more weekends this summer in some remote parts of northern Michigan— Sea-Doo in tow. We also did some exploring this weekend and found some awesome mud pits to play around in. My experience off-roading or mudding is limited, but this truck handled it like a champ. I'm looking forward to doing more trails, and my ORV permit has been ordered. I'm going to need some basic recovery gear though😂 Back to the office tomorrow. 😉

So, who still has issues voting for the TESLA shareholder meeting? Please put in the comments for which broker / bank it does not work or you haven't seen any instructions, and whether this is a brokerage account, (Roth) IRA or 401k. I'll try to add whatever instructions we have in the next two days. #VotedTesla24

Have you voted on the proposals for Tesla’s upcoming annual shareholder meeting? I have Pls do. This might be one of the most critical events in Tesla’s history
Sawyer Merritt@SawyerMerritt

Starting the week of April 29th, $TSLA shareholders as of April 15, 2024, can vote on the proposals for Tesla's upcoming annual shareholder meeting on June 13th, which includes the reinstatement of Elon's 2018 compensation package. For $TSLA shareholders who use Charles Schwab: • To cast your vote online, you’ll need to search for a specific email in your inbox, which may be in your spam folder (same email address that is associated with your broker account). For $TSLA shareholders who use Merrill Lynch: • To cast your vote online, click on this link: olui2.fs.ml.com/Records/Shareh…. Click on "Annual Meeting" next to your Tesla security in order to vote. If you experience difficulties, contact Merrill Lynch support at ml.com/contactus/cont… to learn how to vote. Try searching for each of these three terms to see if you can locate an email from your broker sent in 2024: “id@proxyvote.com Tesla” “@proxydocs.com Tesla” “@saytechnologies.com Tesla” If you find an email, open it and follow described instructions. If you cannot locate this email, contact your broker to learn how to vote. Many brokers outside of the US don’t allow retail shareholders to vote. If you live outside the U.S., contact the broker or institution who holds your $TSLA shares and ask them how to vote in Tesla's 2024 annual shareholder meeting. Sometimes, when you don't participate in proxy voting, brokers may exercise their discretion to cast votes on your behalf. Every vote counts, whether you own one share or tens of thousands. Make your voices heard. It only takes a few minutes. Regarding reinstating Elon's 2018 CEO compensation plan, he upheld his end of the deal; he delivered on the targets in his 2018 compensation plan. Now, shareholders need to hold up their end of the deal and approve it again. Shareholders also need to show that we do not stand for judges to retroactively invalidate our votes. The Delaware Courts ruling is fundamentally unfair, and inconsistent with the will of the $TSLA shareholders who voted for it. The 2018 CEO pay package built in further incentives to benefit Tesla stockholders by requiring that Elon hold onto any shares he receives when he exercises his options for 5 years — which means he will continue to be driven to innovate and drive growth at Tesla because the value of his shares will depend on it.
