Coding assistants make it faster and easier, but the more dependent I get on them, the lesser I find myself retaining details, and debugging LLM generated code is a nightmare. Are we are going to have a generation of programmers who dont have to struggle until its too late ?

We had a formula in #RWRI 21 (so far the BEST, on that later): If you say "assume that" and do not believe in the assumption, do not make the inference. It is the reason interpreting Wolfram that small toy models failed in AI before; the subsequent success came from removing these abstractions.

I made a huge mistake thinking that manual technical jobs such as electician, appliance technician etc. wd be spared by AI. Had pbs w/: HVAC, security system, outdoor lighting, pool programming etc. & was forced to solved them w/AI because technicians are slow at showing up.

That's a hell of a way to leave the actually interesting parts out. He spent years completely frying his brain with extremely heavy psychedelic use, had severe mental breakdowns, thought he was God at various points, advocated poop, piss and cum ingestion as alternative health treatments, and when he could no longer afford to maintain his lifestyle in the US, he went to Thailand to shoot more steroids and do porn with girlymen. He also apparently died while having yet another drug induced mental episode.
