DMK lost nearly 45 seats because of factionalism and sabotage in 2026 Assembly election.
The alliance partners vote share did not transfer to DMK Alliance wheras it was transferred to TVK.
DMK High command is in a speed mood to take its call after the committee submitted the report to DMK President @mkstalin , atleast 35 district secretaries will be removed and the number of district secretaries will be around 100.
Many young turks to be appointed as district secretaries is a good move and @Udhaystalin to play a major role in the coming days.

DMK 13
VCK 1
In the 13 seats which Dmk contested
In 5 seats Congress directly fielded rebel candidates in their own symbol
In 3 seats VCK fielded rebels.
Cong & VCK planned to pull down Dmk and later align with TVK.
Inspite of knowing this Dmk followed coalition dharma did not field rebel candidates in the 17 seats allocated to Cong & VCK. For this honesty they won 5 seats and captured LoP post.
Wheras Cong won only 1 out of 21.
Understand the level of treachery conspired against @arivalayam.
The magnanimity of @mkstalin is even if he gets back power someday he ll not take any revenge for this treachery but instead power goes to @Udhaystalin he will not spare the traitors.

Their issue is that Congress,never fully fought the election alongside DMK. • No Rahul-Stalin campaign. • No serious pushback when Vijay claimed the "real Congress" was with TVK. • No Priyanka Gandhi campaign in Tamil Nadu. • Congress like Praveen Chakravarthy leaders engaging with TVK even before the polls. The result? Chemistry of the entire alliance got spoilt, Congress votes didn't transfer effectively outside Kanyakumari. In 2024, when Rahul needed MPs, Stalin was his "brother", he purchased sweets for him jumping across the divider, whereas, In 2026, when Stalin needed MLAs, Rahul wasn't on the campaign trail. That's what DMK see as the real betrayal.

@VamsiChandran What if they jumped the ship and contested with TVK before election? Who knows the alliance could have won 180+ seats. And congress could have got 50+ MLAs. They too lost once in 50 yr opportunity.
They got favourable signals from TVK still continued with DMK. Have that in mind
