I do believe that in the long term, AI leads to more work, not less. However, if you don’t embrace it, it will lead to WAY less work for YOU. @AIDailyBrief providing usual AI knowledge bombs

Agentic AI development is entering a new dawn. From senior devs not trusting it in 2025 to many of those same devs embracing it in 2026 - there’s lots changing rapidly in the space.

Many of us live in our own subjective realities. The algorithms feed us more of our own viewpoints and we never see the other side. The algos are undoing what made the printing press so beautiful…The fact that we were all exposed to the same information and THEN we made decisions. Now we make decisions and have algorithms validate our views based on SUBJECTIVE reality. Dangerous.

It’s incredible to me that in this day of rapidly advancing AI that Apple, arguably the world’s most valuable technology company, has allowed Siri to remain truly terrible.

Where Did $37B in Enterprise AI Spending Go? $19B → Applications (51%) $18B → Infrastructure (49%) Our report includes a snapshot of the Enterprise AI ecosystem, mapped across departmental, vertical AI, and infrastructure. Although coding captures more than half of departmental AI spend at $4 billion, the technology is gaining traction across many enterprise departments: IT operations tools ($700M), marketing platforms ($660M), customer success tools ($630 M). AI-native startups are rapidly emerging across every job function, capturing a meaningful share of the $7.3B spent on departmental AI in 2025. mnlo.vc/enterprise-ai-…

@IntuitMachine True, but the same happened with the .com bubble and we are all using the internet today. The enterprises that choose outcomes over hype will win.

Everyone "thinks" that OpenAI owns the enterprise. And everyone "knows" the AI bubble is about to burst. I just read Menlo Ventures' 2025 State of AI report, and I’m about to ruin those "facts" for you. The reality is way more interesting (and expensive). 🧵 First, let’s talk about the "Bubble." Usually, when hype peaks, real usage crashes. But AI is doing the opposite. Enterprise spend jumped from $1.7B to $37B in two years. That’s a 3.2x YoY increase. This isn't a bubble. It's the fastest software adoption in history. But here is the shocker: OpenAI is bleeding market share. 📉 In 2023, they held 50% of the enterprise market. Today? They’re down to 27%. So, who stole the crown? Anthropic. They now command 40% of enterprise LLM spend. Why? One word: Coding. Developers are the power users of AI, and they have decisively chosen Claude over GPT-4 for writing code. This leads to the biggest shift in 2025: The "Build" era is dead. Last year, 47% of companies were trying to build their own internal AI tools. Today? 76% are buying off-the-shelf solutions. CTOs realized that building internal tools is slow, expensive, and usually worse than what a startup offers. Speaking of startups... remember when we thought Big Tech (Incumbents) would crush the little guys because of "data moats"? Wrong again. Startups are capturing $2 for every $1 incumbents earn in the App layer. Agility is beating distribution. The "Killer App" isn't a chatbot. It's a coder. Coding tools account for $4 BILLION in spend. That’s 55% of all departmental AI. If you aren't using AI to write code, you are officially fighting with one hand tied behind your back. The TL;DR of 2025: The Bubble is actually a Boom ($37B). Anthropic is the new King of Enterprise. Companies are buying, not building. Coding is the only use case that matters right now. If this data shifts your perspective, I break down more tech trends every week. So subscribe to my feed.

If you’ve ever thought about starting a product based software biz, there’s no better time than NOW. AI has leveled the playing field and made the startup costs almost negligible. Start today.

Not sure I feel much for these folks. I agree inflation is not a great thing and that crippling inflation is bad. BUT I’d also argue that increasing real estate prices are a function of supply / demand not just inflation and rates (I don’t disagree they have an impact). My point is too much of Main Street got caught up in the ever increasing asset values of Wall Street without thinking about the rule of gravity — what goes up must come down.
