To build wealth, concentrate. To keep wealth, diversify.
When I started Cogno AI, my co-founder @harshitaiitk and I made one of the hardest decisions of our lives. We shut down our content writing business that was generating ₹2.5 - 3 lakhs per month in pure profit.
Let me give you the full picture of how crazy that decision was.
When Harshita joined me as a co-founder, Cogno AI was at the brink of bankruptcy. My previous co-founder had left. Customers weren't growing. The ones we had were losing confidence. The product was in terrible shape, almost nonexistent.
And our only source of cash flow? The content writing business we had built together since our college days.
But we made the call. We decided that our time and attention were worth more than ₹3 lakhs a month. That business was a safety net, yes, but it was also a distraction. So we killed it.
Fast forward two and a half years: Cogno AI was acquired in a multimillion-dollar transaction. It became one of the biggest wealth creation events of our lives.
The lesson? Every successful entrepreneur I've seen has done the same thing. They concentrated their energy, put all their eggs in one basket, and made that basket enormous.
But here's the flip side that nobody talks about.
Once you've created wealth, the playbook changes completely.
- To create wealth: Take huge risks with a small amount of money.
- To stay wealthy: Take small risks with a large amount of money.
After the Cogno AI exit, I invested my gains into low-risk, diversified assets like mutual funds, fixed deposits, real estate, and gold. These don't grow at a rapid pace, but they grow steadily. If one asset class corrects, only 10-20% of my portfolio is impacted. The rest keeps compounding quietly.
And now? My full focus and energy is on building @GreyLabsAI. That's my next concentrated bet. Because I know my next phase of wealth creation will come from this venture, not from my mutual fund portfolio.
This is the framework:
- Wealth creation = Concentration. One venture. One mission. All in.
- Wealth preservation = Diversification. Spread it. Protect it. Let it compound.

@Param_eth @Param_eth I have ideas....and can vibe code too but need someone who is really passionate about building something

I'm looking to hire an AI Engineer to pair with me as we work on some of the most ambitious applied problems in 🇮🇳
Couple of things we've done in last 6 months:
1/ Volume: Helped a consumer app scale to 500K sessions/day with identical retention and 30% lower cost with custom memory + implicit caching
2/ Quality: Simulations, Assessment built with the customer which tell what to improve, and not just API errors
We've done production work which others write benchmark-blogs about
3/ Harnesses: We've built and deployed our own sandboxed agents to do analytics on customer logs with bespoke, highly customized skills + memory work
The role is based out of BLR, since we'll visit customer offices, but expect to WFH by default otherwise
Expected pay: 2-4 L/mo depending on how much technical skills x mental acuity,
Independent of seniority, college etc.
