The number of young farmers is going to be a problem. Big ag is big for a reason. This applies to even irrigation technology. Farmers do not have access to the tech themselves from trucks, sprayers, tractors, even pivots. Do we really own anything?

@WadeSohm @wilgocki55 At the end of the day deere is not exactly for dealer. But dealer can do whatever they want on prices or equimentband parts. Dealerships have layers or non essential help and expense they dont need then they wine they have overhead.

@wilgocki55 @directpivotpart Except mother Deere sets parts prices at the dealers. There is no competition allowed.

Dealer parts prices are becoming insane. 200psi sprayer hose at jd $10.50 per ft. Ag Spray? $3 per ft same hose. Timiken bearing at agco for a rhino shredder, $950. Online, same bearing, $380. That's not to mention the local zim dealer complaining about direct pivot parts prices.

@wilgocki55 I completely agree the dealer model on any level not for the farmer. Capitalism will always win. So many parts I call it paying for paint same parts just diffrent paint and way diffremt prices.

@wilgocki55 No clue on them but I heard at potato Expo if you ever had solar on the farm it can never be potatoes alot companies put it in there contracts. But is good theory on marginal ground

Anyone had any experience with these guys? They're poking around in our area, talking about solar farms. The sand in our area would be pretty idea(middle of no where, no one sees it, barely productive as grazing ground). Curious as to if anyone has dealt with them.

It’s unreal how far our parcel shipping industry has fallen in such a short span. Remember when Amazon had 2 day shipping and it worked? Now we’re lucky to move parcels in a week and run a 50/50 chance of being lost or damaged. I swear. @FedEx is especially embarrassing.

Well I guess taking the weekend off finally broke it. Trucks been on 10% derate for over 18 months and kenworth hasn't been able to solve it. Time to get rid of all emissions on trucks and go back to the late 90s early 2000 motors. Had a 2nd truck derate Friday. 🤬😡🤬😡🤬😡
