@mikeddonatelli 0 cardio other than walking in and out of the gym. It’s not necessary. Can still run 1.5 in under 11. But for me it’s a time inconvenience. I’m already there as soon as the gym opens . Would Rather spend the time I have lifting than on a treadmill/stairmaster.

Upper receipts Decided to go with “the humbler” today rather than pin loaded machine. You can see why it’s given that name based on the loading I have. A little goes a long way. I will alternate this with the machine going forward. Also swapped the plate loaded pulldown with the nautilus machine. This a great machine if you have access.

I found out one of my clients relies heavily on protein bars. I’m a big fan of high-quality whey protein shakes, but I rarely eat protein bars. If you use shakes or bars to help meet your daily protein target, make sure the ratio of real food protein to shakes and bars is at least 3:1. About 75% of your daily protein should come from real food: beef, eggs, chicken, turkey, fish, prawns, and dairy, etc For the average gym bro eating 220 g of protein per day, roughly 165 g should come from real food.

The “luxury” meal. Those are disgusting instant potatoes btw. Did 20 years in the navy and deployed 10 times. There were multiple 8-10 week periods where we were limited to hot dogs and Lima beans or similar while waiting to get replenished at sea. Steak and lobster was served maybe 3 times over a 7 month period. The joke is and will always be it’s thr extension meal. Meaning you get this before getting the news of being extended.

Cross training. Happens all the time. I’ve ridden Canadian ships and Indian ships. We have had saudis, Australian, British, among others on various deployments I was on. The sub was probably already on deployment and directed to take station when everything went down with no time to evacuate riders.

lol you have no clue what you’re talking about. Foreign navies and even ship riders from our own navy aren’t assigned positions when the ship/subs go to General quarters. There is a watch quarter station bull that outlines where every assigned member goes during this time. All others normally to the berthing or the mess decks. But hey I only did 21 years in the navy. What do u know.
