The main defense of Ken Paxton letting a pedo off for 30 days and not putting them on the sex offender registry is that the mother didn’t want to put the child through it again. I can understand that. I also know, though that I had a neighbor who was nine years old, murdered by a man that was let out on five felony bonds in Houston. Nobody would say that the judge was doing the right thing. I am certain it would’ve been very difficult and if the Attorney General had better lawyers and hadn’t fired so many good ones perhaps it wouldn’t have gone this way. Sometimes it’s important to stop people for the next victim.

New: Sen. Rand Paul’s son drunkenly accosted and hurled anti-Semitic insults at Rep. Mike Lawler at a Capitol Hill bar on Tuesday night. His son told Lawler that if Rep Thomas Massie loses, it’s going to be because of “your people.” “My people?” Lawler asked Paul. “Yeah, you Jews,” Paul responded.  “Do you think I’m Jewish?” Lawler asked. “I’m not.” “Oh wow, I’m so sorry for calling you a Jew,” Paul said.  He then said that Jews were “anti-American” and how Lawler and his “Jewish supporters” served Israel more than America. notus.org/congress/willi…

U.S. in Holy See
U.S. in Holy See@USinHolySee·
Contrary to news reports, Pope Leo has not bestowed an exclusive special honor on the Iranian Ambassador to the Holy See. This decoration is given to all accredited ambassadors to the Holy See after 2+ years of service and has been standard practice for many years. It is a personal recognition and does not imply support or opposition to any policy or country. Thirteen ambassadors were recently given this recognition. Previous U.S. ambassadors have all received the same. Finally, the decoration was not given in person by the pope.

@discolemonade11 @speakerwarroom Yep the Big Business Globalists wanted to legalize the invasion of our Country, & allow 5000 illegals per day to jump the border, with Amnesty as the end results. Big Business needs them some cheap indentured servitude labors to increase their profit margins. Trump's America 1st!

On August 1, 1960, President Dwight D. Eisenhower received a letter from a frustrated citizen named Leon Scott. Mr. Scott asked Eisenhower why he had a picture of Robert E. Lee in his office. This was Eisenhower's response to Mr. Scott: "Dear Dr. Scott, Respecting your August 1 inquiry calling attention to my often expressed admiration for General Robert E. Lee, I would say, first, that we need to understand that at the time of the War between the States, the issue of secession had remained unresolved for more than 70 years. Men of probity, character, public standing, and unquestioned loyalty, both North and South, had disagreed over this issue as a matter of principle from the day our Constitution was adopted. General Robert E. Lee was, in my estimation, one of the supremely gifted men produced by our Nation. He believed unswervingly in the Constitutional validity of his cause which, until 1865, was still an arguable question in America; he was a poised and inspiring leader, true to the high trust reposed in him by millions of his fellow citizens; he was thoughtful yet demanding of his officers and men, forbearing with captured enemies but ingenious, unrelenting, and personally courageous in battle, and never disheartened by a reverse or obstacle. Through all his many trials, he remained selfless almost to a fault and unfailing in his faith in God. Taken altogether, he was noble as a leader and as a man, and unsullied as read the pages of our history. From deep conviction, I simply say this: a nation of men of Lee's calibre would be unconquerable in spirit and soul. Indeed, to the degree that present-day American youth will strive to emulate his rare qualities, including his devotion to this land as revealed in his painstaking efforts to help heal the Nation's wounds once the bitter struggle was over, we, in our own time of danger in a divided world, will be strengthened and our love of freedom sustained. Such are the reasons that I proudly display the picture of this great American on my office wall. Sincerely, Dwight D. Eisenhower"

I don’t know how many times I’ll have to repeat this, but here we go. The money he keeps ranting about was Iran’s money that we owed for military equipment the Shah bought but we never delivered (plus interest). We repaid it to settle a dispute before the Iran-US Claims Tribunal because we would’ve had to pay far more if the tribunal had ruled in that case. The cash he’s talking about was delivered in Swiss Francs and Euros because we could not actually transfer dollars to Iran.

On May 1, 1999, American mountaineer Conrad Anker was ascending the northern slopes of Mount Everest when he noticed what appeared to be a large, pale rock ahead of him. As he approached, the shape became unmistakable—it was not stone, but the exposed body of George Mallory, the legendary climber who had disappeared on Everest more than 75 years earlier. Mallory had vanished during his 1924 expedition, fueling decades of speculation about whether he and his climbing partner might have reached the summit before their deaths. The discovery of his body offered long-awaited clues, though not definitive answers. Despite the passage of time, Everest’s extreme cold had preserved much of Mallory’s remains. His clothing was largely deteriorated, but his body told a grim story. Injuries revealed that he had suffered a broken leg and arm, suggesting a catastrophic fall. An ice axe found higher up the slope hinted that the accident may have occurred during a descent. What makes the discovery especially haunting is the evidence of his final moments. Mallory appeared to have crossed his uninjured leg over the broken one—perhaps an instinctive attempt to manage the pain. Alone, severely injured, and stranded high on the mountain, he likely understood that rescue was impossible. His body, frozen in place for decades, became both a historical discovery and a stark reminder of the risks faced by those who push toward the highest places on Earth. © Reddit #archaeohistories

The radical, miserable left has noticed our awesome Great American Road Trip trailer… and they hate it. It’s too wholesome. It’s too patriotic. It’s too joyful. They’re upset because they don’t want you to celebrate America! And they definitely don’t want you to teach your kids civics & patriotism. So they tell lies to undermine the mission. Here are the facts: 1. Production costs were paid for by the Great American Road Trip Inc., not taxpayers. Zero taxpayer dollars were spent on my family. 2. Neither myself nor my family received a salary or production royalties. The five part series will be freely accessible by the public on YouTube. 3. The series was filmed in short, one to two day production windows — such as weekends and the kids’ spring break. 4. Career ethics and budget officials at the Department of Transportation reviewed and approved both my participation and individual travel in accordance with federal rules. 5. Under my leadership, DOT has become the most responsive, productive, and transformational in its history — modernizing air traffic control, hiring 20% more controllers annually than my predecessor, moving grants at record speed, and removing illegal truck drivers from the road. Don’t let the haters stop you from visiting our spectacular national parks, monuments and sights in honor of America’s 250th birthday! Our message is really simple: to love America is to see America. So put the phone down, hit the open road, and rediscover what makes America great.
