@BreeSolstad Praying a rosary never puts you in spiritual danger. Also, just being in proximity to something like that doesn't mean you're at greater risk

There is a witches convention coming to town and there’s an internal debate amongst a group at my Church. Half of us want to go the convention to pray outside it with Rosary prayers & hymns. The other half are fearful & say it could put us in spiritual danger. What do you say?

@TheLaurenChen I recall reading about a time that impeachment actuslly meant something. To the point that an inevitable impeachment caused a sitting president to resign instead of face it. Now it's just another buzzword no one cares about

@JessicaTheGreen The more I delve into scientific study, the more I realize that science is mostly fake. We understand so little about the natural world, and what we do "know" is constantly in flux. Theories rise and fall almost every single generation

@HannyahZ Hung out with stoners and did it occasionally myself my entire teenage life. Stoners are some of the most uninteresting, dumbest people on the planet. When they're sober, all they talk about is weed. When they're high, they're "enlightenment" is just unintelligible rambling

PewDiePie, one of the biggest YouTubers in the world just dropped an important video. he claims the algorithm is destroying your brain. a guy once beloved by the algo that made him a millionaire is now going against it. “the key is intent. if you go around your life not making your own choices, then who the heck are you?” his secret fix? > add friction to dopamine apps > unfollow everyone > kill reels (important) > self host everything. > block at DNS level. this is a wake up call. no more autopilot scrolling. you either choose what goes in your brain or the algorithm chooses for you.

@BasedPota18 Yeah, it's so obvious a child could grasp the concept. Probably why it's a children's movie. The fact people aren't getting that is concerning, though I'm not surprised. I've know that the average person is dumber than a 7 year old for a long time

You guys don’t get it yet. Everyone keeps saying AI is going to replace lawyers. I don’t think people understand how this actually plays out. Let’s say you use AI to draft a contract. The contract misses something important. A year later it costs you two million dollars. What do you do? Right now, you sue your lawyer. In the AI world, you’d sue the AI company. Two things can happen. Option 1: The AI company has liability for legal advice. If that’s the case, every AI company will immediately stop letting consumers use AI for real legal work. The liability risk is massive. Option 2: The AI company has no liability because of disclaimers. If that happens, every state bar in the country will say consumers are being exposed to unregulated legal advice and call it the unauthorized practice of law. And they’ll shut it down that way. Either path leads to the same outcome. Consumer AI will be limited to generic “Wikipedia-style” legal information and LegalZoom level document prep. But the real AI tools? Those will live inside law firms. Lawyers will use them to move faster, analyze more data, and run way more matters at once. The M&A lawyer doing 5 deals at a time will do 50. Trial lawyers will run far more cases simultaneously. The idea that AI replaces lawyers probably dies. The more likely outcome is that AI supercharges the best lawyers and makes the profession even more profitable than ever.
Wall Street Mav@WallStreetMav

BREAKING: Lawyers are trying to protect their jobs from Ai. A proposed New York law would ban AI from answering questions related to medicine, law, dentistry, nursing, psychology, social work, engineering, & more. It is being pushed by the lawyer lobbyists, they included other groups to get more support.

I appreciate Tony Gonzales for making the appropriate decision. I look forward to being the voice of TX23 that our district deserves. From the border, to oil theft, water rights, data centers, and many other issues. It’s an honor to be chosen and together we will make Texas proud.

Most business suicides are induced by not understand the difference between reported preference and revealed preference. If you run Testosterone Studios, maker of Angry Muscular Axe Guy Kills Demons in Hell, you might notice after a while that not very many women buy your games. Since your stockholders have a profound moral objection to other people having money and not giving it to them, they want you to correct this problem, stat. They want you to make Angry Muscular Axe Guy Kills Demons in Hell 2 sell to men AND women. So you sigh, shrug your shoulders, hire a bunch of female consultants, and ask them "What do women like?" "Feminism!" "Girlbosses!" "Strong Female Characters effortlessly outdoing men at everything!" "Gay stuff!" So Testosterone Games dutifully makes Petite Feminist Girlboss Replaces Angry Muscular Axe Guy, hoping that men will buy it because they bought the first one, and girls will buy it because it panders to what they were told girls want. Of course, nobody buys it. The men don't buy it because it's not what they liked in the first one, and women don't buy it because women couldn't care less about games where you fight demons in hell. If, instead of asking a bunch of consultants what women like (reported preference), they had looked at games women actually buy (revealed preference), they would have seen something very different. "Fruit Matcher 3000 for iPhone." "Point and Click Alice in Wonderland Studio Ghibli Adventure" "Something Something Hogwarts." And they would have realized, had they two brain cells to rub together, that you can't please everyone, because some people hate exactly what other people like. If you want more money, look at who is already buying your product, and see if you can make them like the next one better. Because I guarantee you aren't already selling to every single male on the planet. And don't hire video game consultants. They don't know how to sell games, and they don't care, because they don't want to sell games. They just hate men, and want to ruin things men like. If you hire them, they're going to have their fun, cash your check, and ride off into the sunset, while you lose your business. And indie studios, who know whether they are making Aliens Must Die or Barbie Horse Adventures, will replace you, which is the free market operating as intended.
