Just close your eyes and imagine this:
After things happen, that I believe will...
Do this: Think two years in advance.
Every Corporate Boardroom in the United States will begin to dread one thing. That one thing...
Receiving an Activist Letter from one man.
That one man, Ryan Cohen, representing RC Ventures, or possibly Teddy, but there should be no question, that Ryan Cohen will be representing the shareholders.
Use any reason you want, but Ryan will represent shareholders, no matter what.
Because Ryan Cohen is a shareholder. And in his future activist endeavors, he will be a shareholder, too.
Many Boardrooms in the future will receive that Activist Letter.
Just when they thought no one was looking.
Looking at their business.
Examining their financial statements, comparing those numbers to their peers. Seeing out of wack ratios, or expenses that provide no benefit to the business or the real owners.
Weighing the pros and cons and being ready to react no matter which direction the receiving Boardroom takes.
Identifying years in advance, the opportunity, and strategy depending on every possible scenario.
The opportunity that aligns with Shareholders who own the business.
The strategy that can be drawn on a piece of paper as a flow diagram.
Any direction that a Boardroom takes in response, the next step will be thought out well in advance.
You've all heard of the these two words used
together: "Wells Notice"
In case you don't: Receiving a Wells Notice is the name used to describe that you or your business have been under investigation by the SEC, and they are preparing to bring charges against you for doing something wrong.
If Ryan Cohen sends that Boardroom an activist letter...
You are done. Cooked. Something in the way you run your public company, and reward yourself is amiss.
Ryan Cohen is an activist and an operator. Not many can claim the same. And because of this, I highly doubt Ryan will become a greenmailer.
(aka, being paid to go away)
I predict, Ryan's future activist letters to these target company's Board of Directors, may carry their own name.
A Cohen Notice.
A Teddy Notice.
An RC Notice.
or maybe just an "I feel a pain in my ass" Notice.
But, make no mistake, future Boardrooms who receive that Ryan Cohen Activist Letter, will begin to feel that pain. The pain will be a sharp, constant, and in no way a dull pain, emanating from their ass region.
Either way, even if those future Ryan Cohen Activist Letter's don't receive a name, the pain should be 100% expected. So get used to it, as that pain won't be going away.

The Teddy.com redirect was not a big story outside of this community. They’re watching our every move, they’re wondering if we’ve been right all along, they’re about to find out.
English

@DominosJack It was brought up and ignored in the Piers Morgan interview.

Over the course of multiple long form interviews discussing the activist bid for eBay there has been one highly relevant subject that has been completely avoided. This proverbial purple elephant in the room is of course Bed Bath and Beyond.
At no point was Ryan asked if he learned anything from the BBBY activist campaign that may prove useful with eBay or if he’s concerned that a second high profile failure will tarnish his activist career moving forward or any number of relevant discussions regarding his experience with Bed Bath and Beyond.
There is a 0% chance this was not by design. Ryan’s PR team of course demanded silence on this issue in return for the exclusive which, given his rising status in the investment world and on the social landscape, was a no brainer for everyone who took the interview.
Why not just use this press blitz as an opportunity to put the BBBY rumors to rest once and for all. Surely there would be no conflict of interest in disavowing one’s affiliation with a dead company.
In Ryan’s silence an orchestral crescendo of reemergence sings in the hearts of man and butterfly.

@magsonthemoon @gmericanhero cmon girl u kno its dkbutterfly. y u playin?

@gmericanhero Do you think he was referencing eBay as the very very big thing? Timing doesn’t really work if eBay “wasn’t a thing” in January.
English

The board started working on Ryan’s compensation package last fall, they detail the back and forth negotiations in a filing.
In January Ryan said he was doing something really big that’s never been done before in the history of capital markets.
Today Mark Robinson said they pulled Ryan’s compensation package vote so they could focus on eBay, which was not a thing yet when they proposed this package.
Logically, to me this means either:
1) eBay is not the really big big thing Ryan was referencing
2) GME is saving face over withdrawing the compensation vote which was actually withdrawn due the lawsuit, which allowed the share expansion to still be voted and passed
