@BBGreatMoments As I was once told many moons ago...velocity means nothing with command.

@_nateschwartz I’ll die on this hill because based on comments like this one, there’s zero evidence you’ve ever touched a baseball field 🤷🏻‍♂️

@TopVelocity I love it! You're demonstrating exactly how I learned to pitch many moons ago! Some things just never change.

STOP opening early. This is why your command and spin are trash. You CANNOT use your lift leg to create hip rotation. Do that… and you land open. Land open… and everything breaks: - No command - No spin efficiency - Velocity leaks Here’s the truth nobody teaches: 👉 You MUST land closed. Why? Because landing closed allows you to BLOCK pelvic rotation. And when the pelvis stops… You’re squared to the target. Now your arm can work clean. Now your pitches actually spin. Now you can locate. If you land open? You’re forced to throw across your body just to survive. That’s inconsistency. That’s lost velo. That’s bad mechanics. Real power comes from ONE place: 🔥 The back hip drives rotation NOT the lift leg The lift leg builds momentum. The back hip delivers force. That’s the difference between throwing hard… and throwing with command + elite spin. If you want to actually develop pro-level mechanics: Go here now 👉 topvelocity.org #pitchingmechanics #baseballtraining #pitchingvelocity #baseballcoach #throwhard #pitchingtips #baseballdevelopment

Ridiculous I had great catching guys! I think all of them played in the big leagues, became coaches and coordinators. A few managed in the big leagues. Whats your resume. Everything your saying isnt reality it may be what u think it should be. Whats your name expert?
Cant throw 98 with movement@KICKandSTAND21

@BLocsports Someone just got sensitive when they found out what they were taught was meaningless When you find out umpires know more about baseball than the players

@BaseballDudes48 Absolutely...my grandson wanted to learn how to play and I got to throw to him for hitting practice. Found I could still throw a slider, a curve and a knuckler...and I'm 66. Seems pitching is like riding a bike...you never forget how.

As a 48 year old retired pitcher who gets to still throw the ball on nearly a daily basis, my change-up is 100 times better now than it was as a player. Simply because I throw it more during catch EVERYDAY, experimenting with grip and release. Catch play is a training tool, not a warm up.

@JMikeMLB @MLB Watch MLB implement the mercy rule... One problem I see using position players to pitch subjects that player to risk of an arm injury. Probably explains why they pitch "softball" speeds to avoid the injury.

No shit. That’s not the point of my original post. My point was if Ps are so good now or than ever before then why are we having more blowout games than ever before where “non pitchers” have to pitch. Just doesn’t make sense. @MLB #pitching #baseball
9 Zones Baseball@uTeeBaseball

It’s an org decision to save arms for the next games. Has 0 to do with quality of P today vs past. This game was deemed lost already. Down 12-2 in 9th. From a W/L perspective over the course of 162 games it is the right decision. (#Phillies did win next game 3-2 and used 3 relief pitchers.) #SheGone

@JMikeMLB @MLB Everything getting out of hand is a result of lack of control and lack of discipline. If we pulled the stunts they do now, the bench would be very warm. The new data is subjective...meaningless...and not worth a tinker's damn.

@JMikeMLB @PitchingNinja @MLB Avg runs/game hasn't changed much at all over the past 25 yrs. How is that possible if pitching is better and nastier than ever? We only see highlights of guys throwing 100+ or nasty sliders & curves. When I watch whole games, I still see plenty of pitchers "only" throwing 92-94

@C_R_Enn I firmly believe these moronic comments are from those who never stood on the mound. I want to see them try and hit my fast ball...

@dknowswhypt2 It's a weak argument. They picked a decade where velocity increased 2 mph on avg - supposedly - and then subtracted going back a few decades. So 95 now minus 2 mph over 4 decades meant they were throwing 87-88 forty years ago 🤣🙄🤓 Also, like big leaguers can't hit 95 smh
