🚨 Let me tell you why this Goldman Sachs headline is the most dangerous one you'll read today.. Companies spent $450 billion on AI last year.. fired tens of thousands of people to "restructure around AI".. replaced entire departments with chatbots.. And Goldman Sachs just said it contributed basically zero to economic growth.. so where did the money go? > It went to Nvidia.. $130 billion in GPU sales.. Jensen is the only man on earth who got rich from AI that hasn't produced anything yet.. > It went to stock buybacks.. companies fired people, cut costs, reported "record profits" and bought back their own shares.. the money went UP not OUT.. Jesus! > It went to a bubble.. the same way crypto money went to Lamborghinis and not infrastructure.. AI money is going to valuations and not productivity.. here's the part that should terrify you.. They already fired the people.. Atlassian 1,600.. Meta 21,000.. Block 40%.. Amazon warehouses.. the jobs are already gone.. But the growth didn't come.. the productivity didn't come.. the revenue didn't come.. they burned the village to build a city that doesn't exist yet.. and Goldman Sachs just looked at the empty lot and said "there's nothing here"

"Massive investment in AI contributed basically zero to US economic growth last year," per Goldman Sachs

BREAKING: SQUARE TO AUTO-ENABLE BITCOIN PAYMENTS FOR MILLIONS OF SELLERS Square will auto-enable Bitcoin payments for all eligible sellers starting March 30, 2026, according to an updated Terms of Service notice sent to users. The change means millions of businesses using Square could soon begin accepting Bitcoin by default, rather than opting in manually. The rollout is part of Block’s broader push to integrate Bitcoin payments across its ecosystem, leveraging the Lightning Network for fast, low-cost transactions. Sellers will still have the option to disable the feature or automatically convert Bitcoin to USD at the point of sale. With Square powering millions of merchants globally, this marks a major step toward making Bitcoin a standard payment method in everyday commerce.

@chamath If AI compresses terminal value and makes every moat temporary, capital will rotate to assets with no disruption risk. Bitcoin is Digital Capital - scarce, neutral, and impervious to AI disruption. $BTC should be the primary beneficiary of this shift.

Seed phrases were a breakthrough for Bitcoiners. But they also handed users the hardest part of the problem: securing them. Bitkey takes a different approach. bitkey.build/seedless-is-sa…

A De Minimus exemption for Bitcoin transactions is critical. When important issues get separated vs other industry issues & discussion is delayed, that is code for "its not our priority but we'll pretend we care" then fundraise off it next cycle. Reject that, the time is now.

So just to recap: a prison guard who lied to the authorities about checking on Epstein also coincidentally made a series of deposits in the weeks leading up to his death that were so suspicious that the bank independently reported them to the police. That same prison guard was searching for news about Epstein in the moments before his death. And that same guard was independently named by inmates who claimed that she was involved in covering up the killing. Also, two cameras in front of Epstein's cell malfunctioned while all of this was happening. That's a whole lot of coincidences stacking up on top of each other. I don't know. Seems strange to me. But I'm no detective.

You’ve smelled this your entire life and it was never the rain. The smell of rain isn’t rain. It’s a molecule called geosmin, produced by soil bacteria. Humans can detect it at just 5 parts per trillion, thousands of times more sensitive than most smells. When raindrops hit dry soil, they launch microscopic aerosols carrying geosmin into the air, like invisible champagne bubbles. Scientists think this sensitivity helped early humans find water. Even camels use it to navigate deserts from miles away. That “earth after rain” smell is survival, written in chemistry.
