@clashreport I think this Iran war clears out the long standing debates surrounding Russia and USA's military capacities, and Russia obviously is stronger than the USA. In a direct fight, it would not need more than 15 days for Russia to obliterate USA's all conventional means to fight back

@RTRSwipe @SilentWraith87 @Muntu87 @0hour1 Doubtful, His decision to open a new front against the USSR is what lost the war, it was only a matter of time. The US just sped it up, but the end was already closing in.

@SilentWraith87 @Muntu87 @0hour1 Not quite true - the US didn't enter the European war until Hitler declared war on them. Had he not, and just concentrated on Russia, doubtless the UK would have sued for peace, knowing the US was never coming to help, but kept its empire.

@nexta_tv Has he missed the entire point? War has changed into low tech low cost mass produced drones High tech, expensive systems sound great, but they're absolutely useless against low tech low cost weapons.

Rheinmetall CEO questions effectiveness of Ukrainian drones Rheinmetall CEO Armin Papperger criticized Ukrainian drones, calling them “housewife work” and “like Lego.” According to him, Ukraine has not delivered a technological breakthrough but is assembling drones from available components, including through 3D printing. He argues that such developments will not change the global arms market and do not match the level of major defense companies and their technologies. At the same time, Ukrainian commentators point out that modern warfare has changed the rules — cheap, disposable drones can effectively destroy expensive equipment and overwhelm air defense systems. In their view, it is mass production and accessibility, not costly high-end technology, that now provide a tactical advantage on the battlefield.

@Gerashchenko_en See the thing is Drump, if Iran had attacked you, NATO would indeed of helped, you cannot start a war and expect a defensive alliance to join in. You were attacked, and we stood side by side in Afghan, you were not directly attacked by Iran, absolute moron, danger to the world.

🇺🇸🤔 Trump on NATO over Iran: This was a test for NATO. It was a test of whether you would help us. You didn’t have to, but if you didn’t, we’re going to remember that. Just remember this—a number of months from now. Remember my words. There’s an expression: “Never forget.”

Donald Trump was overwhelmingly elected by the American people to be our President and Commander in Chief. As our Commander in Chief, he is responsible for determining what is and is not an imminent threat, and whether or not to take action he deems necessary to protect the safety and security of our troops, the American people and our country.  The Office of the Director of National Intelligence is responsible for helping coordinate and integrate all intelligence to provide the President and Commander in Chief with the best information available to inform his decisions.  After carefully reviewing all the information before him, President Trump concluded that the terrorist Islamist regime in Iran posed an imminent threat and he took action based on that conclusion.

Attacking allies as deadbeats, fake countries, U.S. colonies and/or threatening to invade them doesn't, in fact, make them want to rush into a kill box in the Gulf. Go figure.
Lindsey Graham@LindseyGrahamSC

Just spoke to @POTUS about our European allies’ unwillingness to provide assets to keep the Strait of Hormuz functioning, which benefits Europe far more than America. I have never heard him so angry in my life. I share that anger given what’s at stake. The arrogance of our allies to suggest that Iran with a nuclear weapon is of little concern and that military action to stop the ayatollah from acquiring a nuclear bomb is our problem not theirs is beyond offensive. The European approach to containing the ayatollah’s nuclear ambitions have proven to be a miserable failure. The repercussions of providing little assistance to keep the Strait of Hormuz functioning are going to be wide and deep for Europe and America. I consider myself very forward-leaning on supporting alliances, however at a time of real testing like this, it makes me second guess the value of these alliances. I am certain I am not the only senator who feels this way.

@michaeldweiss With a single phone call, Trump can shut down Starlink in Ukraine, and the Europeans would come begging. They have no cards. I support Ukraine. It's a shame they'll have to suffer because of Europe. And when Putin steps into the Baltics, I'm sure the UK and France will defend it.

Maybe it’s because I’m American but I can’t understand these European countries. Yall have terror attacks and threats almost all of which come from Iran and when the US steps up to handle it the strait gets clogged and you don’t want to step in and help secure your national stability? Explain it to me. it’s just wild to see yall look at global stability and shipping as a spectator sport.

🚨 HOLY SMOKES. President Trump just EVISCERATED American "allies" refusing to help the US secure the Strait of Hormuz, openly MOCKS them "Do you have any minesweepers? 'Well, we'd rather NOT get involved, sir!' I said, you mean for 40 YEARS we're protecting YOU and you don't want to get involved in something that is very minor?!" "Very few shots going to be taken because they don't have many shots left." "But they said, 'we'd rather not get involved!'" "We'll protect them! If ever needed, they WON'T BE THERE FOR US.
