It has nothing to do with black culture, rock, jazz and r&b all come from black culture but promote VERY different lifestyles, it’s about what’s surrounding the genre, not its origins.

@Type_Mash I agree and that the parents should be monitoring their use. I think Roblox is fine to use as a kid though with actual parental monitoring. Snap, Insta, TikTok, etc I don’t think should be allowed until 16 or 17+

That being said, let’s be accurate. He was a dude who made a game on Roblox. Not a someone who actively worked for Roblox. No matter where a child is on the internet, there are predators.
Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, Facebook, Discord, random chatting websites, Reddit, YouTube, Xbox, PlayStation, TikTok, etc have predators too. The best thing you can do is advocate for better safety measures, watch your kids, and teach them about predators and avoiding them. Unfortunately, predators will always exist.

I only included consoles cause it happens there too a lot. However, I promise you, Insta, Snap, and TikTok have way more cases of kids being abused, stalked, kidnapped, sexually abused, etc. than Roblox. I didn’t even mention all those random chatting apps too. Roblox just recently started getting a lot more attention for it which is good.
My point is that there is no need to over-sensationalize. Predators will always exist, so they will always exist online too. You can advocate for better safety measures while not exaggerating what’s happening or having extreme solutions like.

I streamed Crimson Desert yesterday for a few hours. It was all really positive engagement.
But once the Steam reviews turned negative, suddenly the chat was flooded with trolls talking about how bad the game was (though they obviously had not played it yet)
