My dear Ms Phillipson, Good evening. What a charming little update. “Labour has halved the cost of childcare for families.” Such exquisite political theatre from the Secretary of State for Education. One is simply left spellbound by the elegance with which you repackage other people’s money as a personal gift from Labour. I see you quite clearly, Bridget. The calm, professional smile masking the quiet panic of a minister whose entire government is bleeding credibility. The desperate need to celebrate “savings” that are nothing more than shifting the burden onto the very taxpayers you are quietly bankrupting. It is all so very revealing. While you trumpet this supposed triumph, British families are being crushed under the highest tax burden in modern history to fund your schemes. The parents you claim to be helping are paying more overall so that the state can play generous benefactor. How very thoughtful. So tell me, my dear Secretary of State for Education, in the time the British people have paid you handsomely to safeguard their children’s future, what exactly have you achieved? Have standards risen? Has discipline returned to our classrooms? Or have you been too occupied with slogans, spin and expanding welfare traps while another generation is quietly failed? I suspect the answer would be rather embarrassing. The British lion is beginning to stir. And when he fully wakes, he has quite the appetite for those who failed him. The reckoning is coming. Britain First. No Surrender. 🦁🇬🇧

We have spent £180m on plans for a tunnel under Stonehenge. The project is now scrapped. You can be for a tunnel & think spending is a good idea (even if you think the cost of planning is silly). You can be against a tunnel & think spending is a bad idea. But *nobody* can be for spending on this scale with zero result. And yet that is a peculiarly British outcome. Nobody will be reprimanded. Nobody will see their career affected. But that’s £180m of taxpayer money just wazzed up the wall. Totally without repercussions. Multiply this by airport expansions & train route plans and Thames crossings and power stations and other examples you can think of yourself, and… soon you’re talking serious money.

@DPJHodges For one, in most (all?) of the countries these Muslims come from Christian open air worship wouldn’t be allowed.

If you want to argue public spaces should not be used for worship - because that’s exclusionary - fine. But condemning just one religious group, in this case Muslims, is bigotry. I’m not sure what the debate is.

NEW: Ex-staff of THREE Labour government cabinet ministers, including Prime Minister Keir Starmer, are now working for a firm led by a former Israeli intelligence officer. Online records are being removed, but I’ve got the screenshots. Here’s what they are trying to hide:🧵

When I was a pre-med student at Trinity College Dublin we had an “objective” lecture on abortion from the Irish State Pathologist Prof. John Harbison. He went through in great detail how abortions are performed and how they are not the simple “procedure” commonly assumed. What takes place was so grim and horrific. One of my fellow students fainted and the female students in particular were very uncomfortable. There is a reason the harsh reality is kept under wraps. And now imagine this horror happening to a fully formed baby. We have to be better than this.
Tim Stanley@timothy_stanley

Tonight peers vote on abortion: a social justice issue. In one ward, doctors fight to save a baby. In another, they kill a baby. The difference, very often, comes down to which baby is wanted or can be afforded. Where is the equality? Where is the fairness? 1/2

Poor Robin spent the last day getting his ass handed to him and promising to have a coherent argument soon and then blocked me. These people live in a fact free bubble and can't handle data based arguments.

Will you join me in making this pledge? They cannot scrap juries unless we as a profession are complicit. We have the right to say no. Barristers, solicitors, paralegals and caseworkers up and down the land. Without us they have no Lammy Diplock Courts. Make your voice heard.

The Big Issue sellers I see in Woodbridge and Felixstowe are the same two Romanian women who've been standing in the same place flogging their magazine for about a decade. I heard the one in Woodbridge telling a daft white old liberal woman who gave her 20 quid that she has 4 kids and they live in a large rental property in Ipswich. The youngest has anxiety apparently. 🙄 Now I'm old enough to remember when Big Issue sellers were homeless British people. When did it become a job choice for foreigners in large houses that I presume we help to pay rent for, who shouldn't even be here because they have no actual skills we need? When? Why?

Government payment for housing "Ukrainians" to be extended for another year. But are they really Ukrainians? A few years ago, Ireland's number one citizen journalist @PhilipDwyer_MOI went to the airport to find out.

The Government is working towards a "reduction and eventual elimination" of the State's accommodation programme for people fleeing the war in Ukraine, the Minister of State for Migration Colm Brophy has said rte.ie/news/ireland/2…

A reporter asked 50 EU politicians in Strasbourg (including the head of the Ecologist party) to simply point to Iran on a map. NOT A SINGLE ONE got it right. They pointed to Bulgaria, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia! These exact people sit in cozy offices, dictating Middle East policy and appeasing the Islamic Republic, while lacking basic geography skills. And YES, throughout their 47 years of appeasement, this terror regime has slaughtered our brightest stars!

Since I raised this in Parliament, the violence has not stopped. Hindu and Sikh businesses in Wembley have been smashed up, men beaten in restaurant toilets, four men stabbed on Ealing Road. The perpetrators of the original Holi attack remain largely at large. #BritishHindus

Thugs from the Central Mosque attacked the annual Holi celebration in Harrow, attempting to assault over a thousand peaceful worshippers. I raised this in Parliament. 20 attackers, one arrest... The Met has questions to answer. #BritishHindus

Today, in Iran, in the middle of a war, the regime executed a 19-year-old national wrestling champion for the crime of joining January protests. 💔 After signaling to the world, including President @realDonaldTrump, that they would halt executions of protesters, the regime has done the exact opposite. Three young protesters, Saleh Mohammadi, Mehdi Ghasemi, and Saeed Davoudi, were hanged in Qom after a sham trial. Reports indicate torture. Forced confessions. No access to chosen lawyers. Closed-door proceedings. No right to appeal. I call on @GlobalAthleteHQ to stand with Iranian athletes who are being silenced, imprisoned, and executed simply for raising their voices. This is not just about sports. This is about human dignity.
