It’s likely worse than “Americans can’t be bothered to protest” and is closer to a period of national grieving because most people seem to realize signs and marches won’t work.

@ProtonInspector Just watched Lynch’s Dune and was baffled by their depiction that so many people apparently loved. It was sort of fish-like but looked more like a sentient slug. Not really the image I got reading Messiah.

I’m pretty sure this is Edric, in the book he comes to Arrakis and presents Hayt to Paul but not like in a box or anything, also Scytale is there posing as one of Edrics assistants. I think people are also a bit too attached to Lynch’s depiction of navigators
