Awais has blocked me, yet still tweets about my posts. If he disagrees with what I’m saying, I’d much rather he engaged directly in civil, open debate rather than commenting from behind a block.

I signed to UCLA my junior year of high school and was told I was going to start Day 1. Opening Day at UCLA? I was sitting the bench. 😭 I had 2 choices: 1. Complain, pout, and blame the coaches OR 2. Find the holes on the team and become valuable. So for 3 weeks, I sat the bench. I showed up early. Stayed late. Cheered for my teammates. Dragged the field every 3rd inning. Meanwhile, I studied the team. The middle infielders were doing well. Third base wasn’t. So I told the coaches: “I can play third.” Then I noticed something else: Offensively, we were either hitting home runs or getting out. I saw the gap. If I could become a tough out, get on base, and bring energy to the team… I could create value. Then we played Miami. The starting third baseman was hitting .115. They gave me a shot. I went 2 for 3 with a walk. Played solid defense. Brought energy. I never sat the bench again. Eventually, I became team captain… and we were ranked #1 in the country. One thing baseball taught me: Opportunities don’t always go to the most talented player. Sometimes they go to the player who becomes the most valuable.

@Rozewicz @joannamoncrieff Depression is not a “disorder”. It is a human reaction to loss and is best helped relationally through psychosocial and milieu interventions. SSRIs and other antidepressants are basically numbing agents with multiple negative effects and have proven to be of limited effectiveness

I can understand this is a difficult time for my psychiatry colleagues. I am sure they all have good intentions, but it turns out that the most widely used psychiatric treatment, antidepressants, causes significant iatrogenic effects (e.g. severe withdrawal reactions, PSSD), is not very effective (at best) and does not target an underlying biological abnormality after all. Although many people still seek a psychiatric diagnosis and a medical approach, increasing numbers highlight how misleading and disabling this approach can be. Their voices are starting to be heard, and we need to work with them to provide help for people who have been harmed by psychiatric treatment, and to prevent more harm being done. Trying to shoot the messenger doesn’t help anyone.

@Tarasworld21 @gtconway3d I have given IQ tests. I'd estimate Trump to be in the mid to high 80s. GW Bush is closer to average (100) than 143! There is no way he is in that high a percentile. The only thing in his favor intelligence wise is he is smarter than Trump.

That's for diagnosing Alzheimer's, what a decaying brain idiot🙄And the MRI he was given in his Oct exam at Walter Reed was likely searching for indicators tracking progression of Alzheimer’s Disease and damage from TIA's. Two Alzheimer's Impairment Assessments in 1 yr is very telling. He is by far the stupidest POTUS in our history🤨and no doubt he cheated to get this score!
