I am hopeful that this bill will pass soon. CMV is the leading cause of non-genetic childhood hearing loss and screening for CMV at birth would help us identify these patients earlier to provide them with better support. #audpeeps #audiology

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to travel to the Texas State Capitol to speak with the Senate about SB 1285, which would enact screening for congenital CMV in Texas. It was a privilege to represent TAA and serve as a voice for my patients and my profession on the Senate floor.

After using EPIC for years I now put *** on documents and notes when I need to signal to myself or others that something isn't complete or needs to be inserted. I can't be the only one, right? I am sure there is a term for this.

@ayedfy Yup! Fluctuating a bit. B on Monday, C yesterday. I wasn't in the office today but planning to run tymps and have someone check my hearing again tomorrow if still not clear.

I've been experiencing constant aural fullness, muffled hearing, and constant tinnitus in one of my ears since I flew back to Houston Monday and I'm about to lose my mind. Is it time to see an ENT? Any suggestions on clearing this up on my own?

@aBitOfSage Ok but also it could clear up on its own and I don't actively work with ENTS anymore so it just feels like a lot of work
