I flipped back over MSNBC momentarily to see what was happening. I laughed out loud—literally. They talked about "what we have to do in future elections to have a chance to win." Yeah, the only thing we need to do is show some dignity by acting like we know what is about to unfold and stop pretending we'll be able to do things that we know will never happen after he is sworn in. Joe Biden will be president until noon on January 20. The Democrats will have the Senate until January 3. Both need to step up to the plate. Biden needs to flood aid and weapons to Ukraine, pushing the envelope on his legal authority. The Senate needs to work night and day to confirm every judge to district and appeals courts where openings exist.

My rant for the day- Fact: Until Ronald Reagan threw out the fairness doctrine and all of the media ownership restrictions (followed by similar actions from every succeeding president)people trusted their newspapers, radio and the TV news. Cause and effect. We are long overdue for a reintroduction of the guidlines that gave us trust in the 4th estate. Calling for that type of regulation actually supports free speech, destroys media monopolies and provides us with a fertile ground of vetted facts which leads to cogent and meaningful discussion on issues of public debate. Allowing Social media platforms to publish disinformation, often from anonymous handles, promotes dishonesty and maximizes profits for the platforms at the expense of the audience they exploit and poisons the well of information from which we all drink. Going forward, if you want reliable information then you have to reintroduce the regulations that stress facts over profits. These regulations must include social media. This is NOT censorship. It is a promotion of facts over dangerous propaganda and we all used to realize this. There is a lot of nuance in this issue. You can’t shout fire in a crowded theater when there is no fire. Libel and slander are not protected speech. Satire is protected. Courts of law decide on disagreements. Anti-slapp legislation protects the small and independent publishers against corporate bullies. But please. Tweet out simple, misleading accusations. It is so helpful in solving difficult and important problems by further dividing the electorate at our expense while the rich keep getting richer.

So this is what happened.... There was a trial on the Dominican Voting Machines to determine whether they could be hacked and whether the 2020 race was manipulated. The republican party brought in a group of hackers who went to work on a machine that had been taken out of service for just this process. The hackers broke the code and were able to find a way to hack the system... albeit without it being connected to any other source and the unit being in service to begin with. THEY BROKE THE CODE. For purposes of the 2020 vote, the hackers failed because ... sure .... anyone can break the code given enough time and free access to the equipment and programming chip.... BUT, THEY BROKE THE CODE. So.... the Republican party left that courtroom with their tail between their legs, loosers..... BUT...THEY HAD THE PROGRAMMING CODE TO THE VOTING MACHINES.... Hmmm... Three years (apprx.) later and they have had hackers in China, Russia and via Elon's web of miscreant's reviewing programming code for the voting machines. Machines that are plugged into the system and ready to be used for 2024. No need to wait until the last minute.... Everyone remembers how the entire computer system throughout the world was taken down by the Microsoft programming glitch 6 months ago..... Get the programming code, twist a few of the dna strands to create a virus that eats data (selective few only) and then release it into the wild using a software update. Selective deletion. Elon has been talking to Russia for months. Midget Mike (aka the Evil Leprechaun) has been in contact with Russia and other axis countries. Trump has held impromptu meetings with leaders the USA wouldn't even shake hands with ...... Add it up folks. THEY BROKE THE CODE.....
