The Alberta NDP are calling for the UCP to revoke the membership of Jeffrey Rath given the allegations he misappropriated millions from First Nations.
Of note, the UCP disqualified many memberships in the run up to Danielle Smith's leadership review.
So, not unprecedented.

ER doc here. Trump is wrong. You can do something about the cardiovascular emergency of aortic dissection. If you're having new abrupt and severe chest or back pain - go to the ER. 👇👇👇
What do ER doctors do:
1) Assess risk factors: connective tissue disease, aortic valve disease, recent aortic manipulation, aortic aneurysm or family history of aortic syndrome.
2) Assess for high risk pain features: abrupt-onset or thunderclap pain, severe or worst-ever pain, tearing or ripping pain, migrating or radiating pain.
3) Look for high-risk physical examination findings: new aortic regurgitation, pulse deficit, neurologic deficit, hypotension or pericardial effusion on bedside echocardiography.
We do beside point of care ultrasound liberally.
Then: we risk stratify, either into low risk, intermediate risk or high risk of an "aortic syndrome"
Low risk: consider other possibilities (e.g. heart attack or stroke)
Intermediate risk: consider d-dimer or CT
High risk: proceed STAT to CT
Add a strong dose of caution and humility and know acute aortic disease can be cyptic, vague and almost painless (I've seen it).

This is wild. 😳 @MLInstitute has revealed that a “hostile foreign intelligence service had cloned (their) website… to recruit Canadians to supply sensitive and even classified information by offering research and other contracts that appeared to be from reputable and prestigious Canada think tank.” MLI deserves huge credit for being a clear, principled voice calling out the aggressive behaviour and foreign interference of the Chinese, Russian and Iranian dictatorships. This scheme underscores how some foreign powers engage in aggressive espionage in Canada with impunity.

Teneycke doesn't hold back when discussing Poilievre's qualifications as potential Prime Minister. And he's right. Poilievre and his strategists have dug the CPC into a very deep hole that they will need to somehow climb out of to remain relevant.
