the ability to know what someone is capable of doing & the level of trust you can give them is such an underrated skill. there’s someone in your friend group who likes money so much to the extent that you know if they had an opportunity to chea-t you financially, they would. there’s someone in your friend group who gets easily intimidated and will definitely snitc-h on you if he has to. so if you can identify one’s true nature or character, you won’t give them much information/trust to disappoint you in the first place.

i just finished reading the four agreements by don miguel ruiz. trust me, if you want a zen and stress-free life you should read this book too it focuses on 4 major agreements you need to make with yourself 1. choose your words wisely instead of “i’m not good enough,” say “i’m still learning”. always say what you mean. avoid gossip, lies, or speaking negatively about yourself. 2. don’t take anything personal if someone ignores you, it might be a bad day for them, not because you are worthless. what people say or do is a reflection of them, not you. 3. stop making assumptions instead of overthinking a text, just ask “are we good?” or “is everything ok?” don’t just guess or overthink, ask questions and communicate clearly. 4. always do your best some days your best can be 100% while some days it’s just showing up, you need to always right that both count. your “best” can change depending on your energy, mood, or situation but the key is to show up fully in whatever you do. in our world today, most people live based on “agreements” they unconsciously learned growing up like fear, self-doubt, limitations, but this book teaches you to break those and replace them with better ones that lead to freedom, happiness, and clarity. most of our stress comes from things we create in our own mind. so therefore, if you change your agreements, you will change your life.
