He might end up being your boss one day.” For the first time all year, the quiet kid spoke. Without missing a beat, he said: “No thanks. I don’t want to be a strip club manager when I grow up.” The room went completely silent. Then the entire class exploded with laughter. Haley burst into tears and ran out of the room. And for the first time all year, the quiet kid smiled.
