@SpatiallyMe That is amazing! Just watched it on my Vision Pro. How did you edit it, and can you just upload that raw format to the web for others to see?

Of course, I had to film everything on the device that’s going to shape the next 50 years of Apple. If you have a Vision Pro, you can watch the video in Spatial (3D) here: shapedagency.com/wp-content/upl… Learn more about the Apple Museum here: applemuseum.nl

THIS is how you do an Apple Museum. I got invited to the exclusive opening of the Apple Museum in Utrecht, which felt like the perfect way to celebrate 50 years of the company that has shaped my life for the past 16 years. But this is not just another collection. Through their unique displays, the museum conveys the core values and philosophies of Steve Jobs: seeing art in technology, approaching concepts in new ways, and paying attention to the smallest details. I couldn’t stop smiling. If you’re a fan of Apple, this is not only a must-visit, but probably one of the greatest Apple experiences you’ll ever have. Shot entirely on Apple Vision Pro.

We are talking about the same thing, you’re just stuck repeating the same stat without understanding what it actually implies in practice. Yes, 0.8% means meals are relatively cheaper compared to income than in some other countries. No one is disputing that. But that does not mean eating out is actually affordable as a daily habit. Multiply your own number and you end up at 20 to 25% of income just for meals out, and that’s using averages that are often lower than real prices.

@domo_ken @DanielMockridge @Xilo_K Which part of relative to income don't you understand? 0.8% means that an average meal in Bern Switzerland costs 0.8% of an average income. While in "cheaper" countries an average meal costs more than 0.8% of an average salary. But I leave it at that, since this leads nowhere 🤷‍♂️

@h00ndekot @parkjii @jkgkbi @Xilo_K I’m rarely at the Bahnhofstrasse, rather I’m catching up with friends, but there are not that many offers for leisure and things to do in Switzerland that don’t cost a fortune. It’s a known thing. What are you doing in your free time, enlighten us 😂

@DudeGeorg @DanielMockridge @Xilo_K Your 0.8% stat means nothing on its own because eating is not a one time thing. Do it every day and you are at around 20 to 25% of your income and in reality meals are often 40 to 50 CHF so it actually proves how fast eating out becomes expensive not affordable.

@domo_ken @DanielMockridge @Xilo_K You're replies imply that you don't understand even the most simple data points like affordability of meals vs salary in a given place. If you read what I shared carefully, it's very simple: price of average meal vs avg monthly salary = avg meal 0.8% of monthly salary for Bern #3

Safety I would agree, although there’s rising criminality and more brutal incidents year after year. This is a general european issue, let’s see where Switzerland standa in 20 years. Still, it’s probably still one of the safest place as of today. Healthcare? Costs keep climbing. Long waits for appointments, $400 a month, plus your deductible and a share of whatever else needs covering. It’s a mess, though I admit healthcare is tough one to fix everywhere. Infrastructure is indeed one of the bests in the world, but it’s expensive. I spend 16 euros a day just commuting from and to work. These are general issues for middle income people, but some people just don’t care. I get that it’s subjective, and I respect our differences. I’m just pointing out the less pleasant side of Switzerland, speaking as a swiss myself, it’s far from perfect and I didn’t even include the societal aspects.

You’re reducing everything to purchasing power, but that’s just one dimension of what makes a place good to retire in. Switzerland is expensive, but it offers things cheaper places don’t: safety, healthcare, infrastructure, stability. Whether that trade-off is worth it is subjective. And “you can’t retire here without money” is true for plenty of high-quality places. That doesn’t disqualify them, it just defines who they’re for. You’re pointing at a real subset, but treat it like it’s the general case.

@jakobonchain @Xilo_K Let’s see how your situation will be once you retire, every year the number of swiss people that leave Switzerland to retire somewhere else increases.

What has this statistic to do with the fact that many swiss retirees are not able to afford a “normal” life & are forced to stay at home all day to safe money & we didn’t even start about the renting situation that forces elderly people out only to renovate and hike up the price 4 fold.

@ilgoffo @DudeGeorg @DanielMockridge @Xilo_K Some swiss places… Which swiss places are cheap? Also send me few of these good european restaurants, I will validate them myself. It’s only good if I can’t make it better at home.

@DudeGeorg @DanielMockridge @Xilo_K You can ignore reality and just look up numbers if that’s all that it takes to keep you happy in Switzerland. I don’t really care. And you’re right there’s not just one factor. You’ll need to live here, like I do, for your whole life to really understand the issues.

@domo_ken @DanielMockridge @Xilo_K Well, this index is based on hard data so I am not sure whether you deny reality based on anecdotal what you see. Many reasons why folks do something in one place while they do it less in others. But like everything, it's not as simple as just one factor.

@jakobonchain @Xilo_K And I can tell you why. This only means you’re by no means the average person. You either earn above average, invested very early on in your pension fund or have bought property. I know way too many elderly people that have a good pension and struggle to live a “normal” life.

@domo_ken @jkgkbi @Xilo_K yeah me too and i stand by my statement. switzerland is not all but rolex and villas and caviar brunches. sure it's not the cheapest place to live in but you can find a way to live a decent life with an under avg salary. even in zurich.

Numbers outpacing reality, amazing. How come that I, who have been born and lived in Switzerland for all my life, have never seen a Swiss that goes eating out in a proper restaurant every day? While in Manila, people go out drinking and eating street food every single day? Something is not adding up.

I just finished my 13th mission without a fail in Hitman Freelancer mode on PSVR2. It’s not easy-there are no saves, and a single mistake can force you to start everything from scratch. I finally unlocked the outside area of my safehouse too.
