The distaste we feel for these outrageous attacks is because we remember the integrity & compassion she showed on a daily basis while leading us through the dark time of the pandemic. She’s also an outstanding politician with a global reputation in our struggle for independence

Looks like the media onslaught of former FM Nicola Sturgeon has started to 'BACKFIRE' spectacularly. On STV News tonight plenty of support from people in her Govanhill constituency, and her work during the pandemic.

Nicola Sturgeon is head and shoulders above any politician in the UK. A leader that led, a leader that protected us all, and a leader that wept with us all. Show me any other politician with a fraction of class as Nicola Sturgeon.

As we approach the end of 2023, it’s worth reflecting on how far we’ve come this year. At the start of 2023, Nicola Sturgeon was still the SNP leader and First Minister, and looked like she’d go on forever. In February, she suddenly and inexplicably resigned, plunging her party into chaos. In the rushed election to replace her with her chosen successor, Humza Yousaf, he was challenged and nearly defeated by Kate Forbes, and since then the faultlines in the Nationalist movement have been repeatedly exposed. The SNP is now a party deeply split. Then Operation Branchform ramped up, Sturgeon, her husband the SNP CEO, and the SNP Treasurer, were all arrested and questioned by police, Sturgeon’s home and the SNP offices were raided, a £100k campervan was among the items impounded, and the criminal investigation continues. One former SNP MP was criminally convicted and removed by a recall petition. In the subsequent by-election, despite the SNP throwing everything at it, they lost to Labour on a 20% swing. If replicated across Scotland at a General Election, this result would see the SNP wiped out. Shortly after this, another SNP MP defected to the Conservatives, then an SNP MSP, and candidate in the leadership election to replace Sturgeon, defected to Alba. In January the British Government invoked section 35 of the Scotland Act to prevent the SNP and their Green allies passing their Gender Reform Bill, against the overwhelming wishes of the Scottish people. The SNP’s devolved administration challenged this, and in the Court of Session hearing in August/September was defeated. This month, they announced they would not appeal. Opinion polling for the next General Election, which must be held by January 2025, will likely be in 2024, and some commentators think could be as early as May, increasingly looks like a disaster for the Nationalists. At the start of 2023 the SNP led Labour by double digits, but now they are neck-and-neck, which will translate into double digit seat losses for the Nats. Meanwhile the dial on Indy polling remains steady, with the majority of Scots still against secession. It’s been the worst year for the Nats this century, and 2024 promises to be even better.

First Minister @NicolaSturgeon has sent her best wishes to the many thousands of people from Ukraine who will be spending their first Christmas here in Scotland. She has pledged solidarity with Ukraine, and said Ukrainians will always be welcome in Scotland.

Today, I was proud to speak in @ScotParl on a historic day for Scotland, as the Gender Recognition Reform (Scotland) Bill was agreed to. The passing of the Bill, debated extensively this week, is a significant step forward in creating a more equal and inclusive Scotland.

Any ideas on why @NicolaSturgeon is hell bent on letting men have access to women and girls spaces? DJ Lippy’s theory that someone has some information on her that she doesn’t want to be made public makes perfect sense. Anyone else have any thoughts?

Today I am ashamed of my country. Not the people but its leaders. Scotlands parliament has voted for legislation which promotes lying, removes women’s rights, and encourages state sponsored child abuse. They applaud themselves. They glory in their shame. A dark day for Scotland
