My dear Mom, Catherine Violet (Corrine) MacPherson MacDonald of Inverness, NS, passed away on November 9th, 2024 in Inverness.
She was married to Joseph Francis (Rory Sis) MacDonald of Inverness who passed away in 2014.
Mom and Dad are together again. ♥️♥️🎹🎶🎻

Today we have announced that we will sadly be closing after over 20 years of service in Rural Housing. The severe lack of funding opportunities and core funding has given us no choice but to close. We would like to thank all who have supported us over the years.

Those of you I have worked with will know how devastated I am with this news. I have always (& will always) be a strong advocate for rural and island housing. That will never change. We did all we could to keep @RuralHousingSco open but this is the outcome of no core funding.
