$1.3 BILLION IBIT DARK POOL DUMP SHAKES BITCOIN MARKET A massive $1.29 billion dark pool block trade hit BlackRock’s $IBIT this morning, marking what traders are calling one of the largest institutional Bitcoin ETF prints ever recorded. The trade reportedly crossed around 10:30am at roughly $43.16 per share, with the single candle exceeding IBIT’s average daily trading volume by itself. Traders say the block sale coincided with sharp downside pressure on Bitcoin’s price action. Dark pool tracking accounts noted the transaction dwarfed prior IBIT institutional prints dating back to March 2024. Rumors are now circulating that the move could trigger the largest single-day Bitcoin ETF outflow on record if confirmed. At the same time, institutional options flow showed nearly $1 million flowing into December 2026 $45 IBIT call options, suggesting at least some large players remain bullish longer term despite today’s apparent liquidation.

Additionally, many cities will pay for bum's bus rides to their desired locale. With the amount of handouts and amazing weather we have, it's no wonder they keep arriving here in LA.

Yes... and this is a good thing. When I got to Los Angeles (from Upstate NY, by way of London), I had effectively no network among people with capital. But I had energy and (eventually) good ideas, and, bc people here don't care that much about whether they knew your dad, they were willing to give me a shot. Hope that never changes.

@moseskagan It's more than 1/2. Another factor not talked about is how many people became bums by choice then did so many drugs laced with fent and other cutting chemicals that they have ruined their minds and are in a perm drug induced psychoses that just looks like organic "mental health"

Real talk: Some material percentage of the people living in tents in LA are doing so more or less by choice (bc they want to be able to do drugs, have no rules, live by petty crime, etc.). It is ~impossible to bring them all inside, unless you are willing to force them.

For the record, I am the son of an immigrant (my dad was born in a refugee camp). I am strongly in favor of legal immigration and I believe that immigrants have immeasurably strengthened our country. This proposed policy is beyond the pale.
