Introducing Project Glasswing: an urgent initiative to help secure the world’s most critical software.
It’s powered by our newest frontier model, Claude Mythos Preview, which can find software vulnerabilities better than all but the most skilled humans.

What would my Claude usage cost if I used their API instead of their Max plan?
TL;DR: Estimates suggest between $30-$35 per month for Claude Chat. Unfortunately I cannot estimate my Claude code usage (which is a bulk of my usage) since I do not have an export of my Claude code conversations.
Approach: I exported all my Claude Chat conversations for the last 30 days and used Claude code to compute # of tokens sent in each turn (progressive addition of previous input and output tokens), added an assumed overhead for system prompts, tool definitions and tool calls, use the public Anthropic API pricing and assumed 50% cache hits on input tokens. Estimation could not include MCP connector scaffolding and thinking tokens

@tobi Who knew early singularity could be this fun? :)
I just confirmed that the improvements autoresearch found over the last 2 days of (~650) experiments on depth 12 model transfer well to depth 24 so nanochat is about to get a new leaderboard entry for “time to GPT-2” too. Works 🤷♂️

in 0.50, @cursor_ai got a lot more efficient working with long files
agent can now search & replace which allows for surgical edits making it much faster, around 2x in this example

the phrase 'an eye for an eye' originates from the Code of Hammurabi ~1700 bce
lex talionis or "the law of retaliation"
'if a man destroys the eye of another man, they shall destroy his eye' ie punishment meets the crime.
the phrase "an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind" is attributed to Mahatma Gandhi, though there's no direct record of him writing/saying it.
so
'An eye for an eye' = ancient justice
…makes the whole world blind = 20th-century pacifist twist, probably paraphrased from Gandhi’s beliefs.
