@Xfinity Thanks. I’m aware of that link. It doesn’t really let you know if there is a plan, let’s say in the next three years or so to get in the area. I find it difficult that a company of this size doesn’t have a strategic plan and cannot provide an approximate timeframe.

@Johnny_Joey As a fellow EOD Tech, I agree with everything you said but it’s Noem’s problem not Duffy’s. They fall under DHS not DOT.

I’m gonna go out on a limb and say I probably fly commercial more than anyone else who responded to this possibly even you Mr. secretary. As a former bomb technician I can tell you that your agents are not only poorly trained and badly managed but also lack basic understanding of the devices and substances they’re looking for. Develop AI to run the x-ray machines at least then some form of intelligence will be involved. Until then: 1) develop something similar to TSA pre-check that persons with assistance devices like prosthetic legs can apply for and not be subjected to an array of extra screening every time we go through. 2) create a line that people pay for that only people whose flights are less than 45 minutes from departure can go through 3) require all airlines to increase their standby crew staffing at every major airport 4) train TSA agents in security lines to understand the difference between yelling more loudly and speaking more clearly when giving instructions 5) standardize nomenclature and signage at all major airports 6) mandate that all airlines communicate among one another for short layovers and delays I can go on feel free to shoot me a text brother
