In Thornton Heath we uncovered another disgusting fly-tip - this time with correspondence from multiple addresses. I joined compliance officer Ken Thompson to go through the rubbish and start investigations. Enforcement will follow: Fixed Penalty Notices will be issued, and where fly- tips are on private land, owners will also be pursued. Croydon has zero tolerance for fly-tipping. We are restoring pride in our borough - one street at a time.

I recorded a short rant when I discovered just how much litter there was!

It's our responsibility to act. I am tired of walking past litter in Croydon. It ruins our local environment. East Croydon to Lloyd Park is just over a mile, so I have decided to clear the path. I had no idea just how much there was! @isnit0 @lfg_uk

Has anyone EVER had the misfortune of calling @ContactCroydon as a leaseholder? The average wait to have the phone picked up is 1 hour! Avoid buying any ex Council properties in 'the dirty borough of Croydon' at ALL costs @JasonForCroydon @mayorofcroydon @CPhilpOfficial

Beware of shopping @BandQ Croydon if you are elderly and have to get anything heavier than a feather. The service at the end of the shopping experience was terrible! Nobody could help with getting our things to the car- shameful!! Will reconsider not shopping here next time 🤷🏾‍♀️
