Rather than a clear “normal vs enlarged” cutoff, prostate volume increases in adulthood and varies widely between individuals. It reflects underlying biology — including height, metabolic factors like BMI and IGF-1, and endocrine signals such as bioavailable testosterone. 3/4

This study used a wearable device to safely capture 24h profiles of adrenal steroids every 20min in 214 people.
