Hot take. I know as consumers, we can feel a bit entitled to enjoy things, but telling artists what to make is just not the way to go about it. Bungie clearly wanted Marathon to be VERY different from Destiny. Asking for Destiny features in Marathon seems backwards.

I love Marathon to death, it’s my favorite FPS on the market but it is so energy dependent for me that if I am spent I cannot devote the energy to play. It requires you to lock the fuck in and I can’t always push myself like that. Will continue to play and stream of course but I need breaks here and there

Incredibly curious, would like to hear your thoughts: From my OWN personal experience playing Marathon - close to 400 hrs at this point - I feel that the vast majority of the time, the best loot that I manage to extract with almost always comes from the bodies of enemy players that me/my team kill (and not necessarily from the map itself) Is this your experience as well, or is it different? Interested to hear perspectives outside of my own.
