@amazon Your driver took a photo in front of my door, marked my large package delivered, then walked off with it. I have this on video. Yet CS says wait until 10pm tomorrow (for delivery) and call back? 😬It really like your driver stole my package. #CustomerServiceFail

@frickers Worst experience; Richmond, IN. Argument with manager over comping $3 (on $40 order). Nachos less cheesy than any -my entire life-. She said too bad. I said split the diff, she said $1. I said they were losing a customer. She didn't seem to care. I won't be back.

@github shame on you for not helping fix this. httpie.io/blog/stardust at the very least you should fix the broken UI that allowed this to so easily happen in the first place.

@SasLuca Yeah your slides make it look much cooler than it actually seems, but this should work... yep! Thanks for all your help. Really wish I understood why it doesn't work the other way... seems perhaps you can't include code with dis-similar types?

@dreamer3 I see, I went and checked my C code. I sadly haven't coded much in C since my talk as I started a new job. The way I did it in my code was using _Generic to select the function, its unfortunate that wasn't reflected in my slides. godbolt.org/z/voKr6fTWs

@SasLuca Could you please look at my use of _Generic? I'm trying to follow your slides almost exactly (building a string lib) but for the life of me I can't get _Generic to work. Is that code portable? gist.github.com/joshgoebel/64d…

@SasLuca You only used one of the types/cases, which seems to work. As soon as you use both - then it fails... here is your exact code but I've also added a call that tries to pass a `str` as well, and it fails to compile. Thoughts? godbolt.org/z/fcb3ox8os

@dreamer3 Ah I see, the issue is in the use of Generic. If you got this usage from my slides then I must have made a mistake back then, sorry for that. The correct usage is to use Generic to change the argument itself like this: godbolt.org/z/Mr6osza3n

@SasLuca But why? I assume you'd also have to return an invalid `str` for not found then? Wouldn't `contains` answer the question equally well, or would the idea be once you had the needle you'd mutate it in place for some desired end?

@dreamer3 I probably thought of returning a needle that is in the haystack. So the pointers would be from within the haystack.

@SasLuca Hey, what is the intent of your `str str_find_first(str haystack, str needle);` API? I'm familiar with indexOf and such APIs that return the needle index, but what `str` object is this suppose to return exactly?

@StackOverflow How is it Discord can serve up our full 180+ languages to millions of users yet you can't even seem to get the basics right? github.com/highlightjs/hi… It's incredibly frustrating to continue to deal with these issues. It seems like you don't care.

@ChrisKempson I emailed you about potentially helping out with the base16 project (getting caught up on PRs, etc) but my email bounced - Google keeps saying "The email account that you tried to reach does not exist."

@domgetter Does NCoC need a new maintainer? I see open issues that could easily be resolved that have lingered for a long time.

@frederikRiedel @davemark @heridfan @chriswelch The "really clever protocol tricks" are automatic pairing when connected via USB. Acting like a USB keyboard when hooked up over USB (even if just to charge) isn't so much clever as "why don't all wireless keyboards do that?"

@npmjs @npmstatus Any issues? Can't seem to deprecate anything... "deprecations must be strings". Worked earlier today.
