I'm glad my child's school teaches puberty and safety with an opt-in system.

If you want to know how mad the Nebraska Supreme Court was about the actions of the Secretary of State and Attorney General, they made a SIMPSONS reference in the opinion and said Marge's sisters understand their constitutional obligations better than our Executive branch. Dang.

NEW: Days after @NebraskaSOS certified a ballot measure seeking to repeal private school scholarships, he now “is convinced the referendum is not legally sufficient,” per a legal brief his office filed. He asks Nebraska’s Supreme Court to compel him to remove it from the ballot.

@Ubiquiti You really need to revise your RMA policy. I realize home/small businesses devices aren't seen as "mission critical". But they are to us. I can't be without my core switch for weeks, or my doorbell for that matter. Charge credit cards until returned or something.

@RosserJobs I’ve both had to cancel on interviewee and had them not show up. I always rescheduled and didn’t hold it against them.

@RosserJobs Interviewer should notify person they’ll be late. May not be possible in emergency. Interviewee should feel free to leave after 15 minutes IMO. Then interviewer can contact, explain and invite to reschedule. Idealistic but gives grace while respecting people’s time.

You arrive on time your interview. 45 minutes later - still waiting. What is your move?

The #neleg made a wise decision to forego a property tax shift that would disproportionately affect low income Nebraskans and potentially harm local school district funding. We look forward to a fiscal note and further analysis on the amended version that advanced to select file.

@Mattlinn01 @MSSMax Same. I have long wondered why none of the 4+ weather apps I have had a CarPlay app. Dodging storms is pretty routine when traveling in the Midwest in the summer.

@treylorswift @krishnanrohit But why do we care? Education should prepare for life and jobs. My employer doesn’t use a key logger to make sure I do everything manually. They encourage responsible use of AI. Schools must adapt.

@krishnanrohit At first I thought it should be possible for the students to work on an online system (like an augmented Google docs or something) that monitors their keystrokes and determines whether Ai is writing or not.. but then figured.. Ai could easily imitate a human at a keyboard, right?

We found a reverse Turing test that works on multiple levels

@krishnanrohit I stressed this when our school adopted an AI policy. We can’t rely on automated tools to detect AI. Teach students to use AI responsibly and if necessary use an alternate assessment of skill if AI abuse is suspected.
