The economic policy is so good that the country fell from the 4th to the 6th largest economy, its currency dropped from 88 to 93 within six months, and nobody noticed

@chhuti_is He is giving discount and not charging extra. What is your problem? He will earn less. On top of that he is giving receipt. How many doctors give receipt? How many doctors give discount? You can also give discount to people whom you like.

It is deeply disturbing to see a doctor discriminating patients based on religion. How is Indian Medical Association and Apollo Clinic allowing this?

Going off Russian oil & Gas in this scenario would be suicidal for India ! India has to resist and violate the writ of United States for whatever be the consequences. Else people of India would suffer a severe energy crunch ! I really hope Govt of India stands up to US diktats !

@themahavir TERM INSURANCE is very simple. Buy it as soon as you get a job and have a stable, decent salary. You have to be healthy and should declare everything.

Insurance is not a push product. Insurance products are. A childhood friend passed away recently. 44 year old. When a friend broke this news, one the first thoughts was whether his own family was protected. We see hospital bills. We hear about losses, accidents every day. We watch someone die at 43. We know the risks. We want to cover them. Nobody genuinely needs convincing. That's when an insurance product enters. With 40 pages of legal and medical jargon. Premium that feels arbitrary, and sellers whose income depends on how much you buy, not what you need. That's where the "pull" dies. As an industry, we used complexity to protect ourselves against fraud, abuse, while making it difficult for people to protect themselves, something they always wanted. We had our reasons. But with technology and AI now if we don't build simpler, personalized products that customers can intuitively demand, then the "push product" remark would be an excuse. People don't need a push. They need a product they can understand. They need a product they can trust. Do you think we are ready to make this shift!

@themahavir Very few understand the meaning of INSURANCE & almost nobody is ready to accept that they may suddenly die & have to pay money every year for financial security of the family. LIC made insurance popular using the endowment policies showing the maturity amount. That's only 1/10

I don't believe in GDP race. Quality of life matters far more. For those who do, especially the media and the government, note that our GDP rank is falling, courtesy a weakening currency. We are now the "6th largest" - down from the self-proclaimed "4th largest". And this fall is only for 2025 - when USD-INR was 88.5 Let's embrace for the 2026 crash when the USD-INR is already close to 94. moneycontrol.com/news/business/…

A shocking video from the Mumbai Local Train shows men hanging dangerously outside a moving train even with doors shut. This isn’t a stunt. This is survival. For lakhs of commuters, missing a train means losing time, money, sometimes even a day’s wage. But at what cost? One slip, one jerk… and it could turn fatal. Is this what we call the Mumbai Spirit? Or is it a silent compromise with safety we have normalised?

@DocPriyamMD That part, I agree. But a person in hospital, disturbs the daily routine. 1-2 persons have to take leave from jobs; travelling cost and incomplete sleep. These are indirect costs. People save their family members at the cost of their financial future

I understand the logistics of bed-ridden care are daunting, but in this specific case, we had already activated Ayushman Bharat, meaning his entire hospital stay and surgery were free. When the financial barrier is removed and the family still looks for the exit, it’s no longer about constraints, it's about the value placed on that life

Yesterday night, a 58-year-old man was admitted to the ICU. He’d been suffering from a severe headache for four days. His family ignored it. By the time they brought him to us last night, he was already drifting into unconsciousness. The CT scan confirmed the nightmare: a massive Subarachnoid Hemorrhage. A catastrophic bleed. I sat the family down and explained the prognosis. It was grim....mostly because they had waited so long. I advised the necessary investigations, but they were reluctant. Their first question wasn't "How do we save him?" but "If he has no chance, can we just take him home?" I told them we wouldn’t give up. We activated Ayushman Bharat services so their treatment would be completely free. I told them Neurosurgery docs would come the next morning to evaluate him for a life-saving intervention. This morning, the attendant..a young man in his late 20s approached me again. "Can we just take him home? we don't have the money." I felt my temper rising. "I already told you, everything is covered. It’s free. How can you even think of taking your father home in this state?" He looked at me and said, "He’s not my father. He’s my uncle." I paused. "Where are his children? His wife?" "He never married," the boy replied. The anger in me died instantly, replaced by a cold, sudden realization. For a second, I found myself thinking that if this man had his own children standing there, the conversation might be different. Maybe they would be fighting for every extra second of his life instead of looking for the exit. It made me think about the importance of building your own family...having people who are truly yours when the lights start to dim. Of course, I know we shouldn’t generalize. I have seen biological children treat their parents far worse than strangers. But watching that man lie there, essentially alone in his most critical hour, hit me hard. I eventually convinced them to stay and continue treatment, but the silence of his so called family spoke louder than any monitor in that room. Don't take your health for granted, and don't take the people who care for you for granted. In the end, they are the only ones who will be standing by your bed.

@Sandeep_Majj FII are losing a great opportunity to SELL. Indian markets are rising for the last two days while war is not completely over and STT has not been reduced. Surprisingly, those blaming the govt for STT, LTCG, STCG are silent when the markets are rising.

What happened to the narrative that retail bought at the bottom and gave foreigners an exit - Foreigners are slowly turning buyers now ?? Not at the bottom but a good 6-8% higher. And 10% higher in the broader market. Maybe people mocking the retail and calling them dumb need to analyse better. #StockMarketIndia

Just read that this year the El-Nino effect could make this the hottest in 140years! And yet, in India, Environmental Concerns are not really on the table politically. With a population of 1.4 billion,& growing, isn’t it time we politicians looked at this big time+pronto?
