Respectfully Darren, you’ve lost the plot. Journalism was never supposed to be a for-profit business, but a public good. And when it shifted to a purely capitalistic model, it compromised the very integrity it was built on. Surely you’re not naive enough to understand why many see Jeff Bezos gutting the Post as politically motivated — especially in light of his relationship to this administration. He’s deeply compromised. Beyond that, there’s no question that journalism has to adapt to the times — but that adaptation doesn’t have to come at the expense of thoughtful coverage. You meet the audience where they are, but you also give them what they don’t know they need. They need storytelling, depth, context and insight. The audience still responds to those things and that will always be in demand.

They actually don’t. Read the room. Just because Zelensky and democrats want the gravy train flowing to their pockets and mansions doesn’t mean “We the People” do. One way or the other it’s over for him. He polls at 4% with his own people hence no elections. He subverts free speech. We are done funding anti-democratic states.

I love my country with all my heart and I've never been more embarrassed for America than the spectacle I just witnessed in the Oval Office. Zelensky is fighting for the survival of his country, his people and their democracy. Trump and Vance appear to be completely aligned with Putin, the invader whose aim has been to conquer Ukraine. Zelensky should know that millions and millions of Americans still stand with him and his valiant people.

Our lakes are not 'swimming pool clear' but the water is transparent for several feet and full of life. That pond is just nasty.

@sparky_rebooted @shirlpuzz Tropical places are different, as the ground is different. More sand base in tropical places, and generally warmer waters, as well. Somewhere like this is going to have much more of a “muddy” bottom, lacking in sand.
