My daughter is 19 months old. During a recent meal out, she messed around the whole time. She even got food and ice cream on her clothes 😮 So, when we got home, I made her get her crypto wallet and send me one of her bitcoins (which she was most upset about) whilst explaining that if she wants to mess around during a meal, she can pay for it herself and waste her own money. She hasn't messed around in a restaurant since. I push her as best as I can. I don’t indulge (and never will) so-called ‘gentle parenting’, victim hood or loser mentalities. This for me, is parenting done well and I’ll say again, an approach which, if many others adopted - would see this country (and our young people!) in a far better place than it currently is. I can't believe how many of you 'utter melts' think children should be allowed to be children. 👍🫤 🤦‍♀️

@itvlondon Yes , the bad feeling is towards the union for being so petulant. They held strikes last year to get the 4 day week, now they have it They don’t want that they just want to work fewer hours but get the same take home pay.

As a follow on to this, literally every single place I’ve been to eat they have asked very upfront “any allergies?”. I’m gonna guess that came about from some high profile cases? I’m so used to it being the other way - the person with the allergy stating their restricts proactive

For all the disclosures that have to happen in the UK, I’m surprised that for fast food/chain restaurants that ingredients lists aren’t required to be published. Just allergen & nutritional fact sheets.
