Name ONE person you would like to see dragged out of their bed at 3:00 AM. By the FBI. For me, it's hard to choose, but right now the most evidence is against Ilhan Omar. Theres nothing that she hasn't done or tried to SCREW America.

@Milajoy Have them explain why no one called Trump a racist before 2015. He was a regular on television for decades and somehow no one noticed he was a racist. Idiots.

If Clarence Thomas or Samuel Alito retire in Trump’s term, keep the Federalist Society away from any decision making about their replacements. They gave us Gorsuch, Barrett, and Kavanaugh who are shaping up to be more like John Roberts than Thomas and Alito. I want Mike Lee, Ron DeSantis, and Andrew Bailey in charge of the search committee for replacements. They would make sure the most lethal, right-wing, conservative justices are picked, more conservative than even Thomas and Alito, if that’s even possible. If we replace Thomas and Alito with more Barrett’s, we’re handing the Supreme Court over to the Democrats. Trump’s first 3 picks don’t have what it takes to defend the Constitution and save the country. His next 2 (if he gets those picks) MUST. Follow: @WallStreetMav

@StandUpForTrmp Trump shouldn't waste his time. The information is out there. Just look at how Trump was treated before 2015. Anyone who still believes the msm storyline about Trump doesn't want to know who he really is.

There is not a “homelessness” problem in urban America( if they are like Chicago). There’s an addiction and mental illness problem that manifests as homelessness…there’s is no way we can solve the problem if we can’t even identify the problem…also, people who call it a homelessness problem generally are grifters...

Fans of the late great America This Week, here's the scoop: The much-publicized new boss person at Racket whose surprise hiring I wasn't comfortable instantly celebrating live on air -- the basis of the whole rift -- has already been let go. What a strange business.

Once institutions reach 50% women, they rarely stop there. Helen Andrews points out that many fields keep feminizing — 52%, 55%, 56%… and in psychology, it’s now 75% female graduate students. It’s not just women out-competing men and hitting natural balance. As environments become more feminized, they often start feeling unwelcoming to men: different conversation styles, more gossip and factions, less tolerance for certain kinds of debate. Men quietly leave, especially those drawn to the harder, more analytical sides of the field, which accelerates the shift. The cycle becomes self-reinforcing. Andrews suggests the only way to reverse it may be deliberately carving out spaces where men can work and debate in a more masculine way — without apology. It’s an uncomfortable but honest observation about how institutions quietly change character over time. Do you see this pattern playing out in fields you’re familiar with? Is there a healthy way to push back without turning everything into a gender war?

The cities that have actually reduced street homelessness share the same playbook: make the streets less attractive than the shelter, use courts to force treatment, and measure success by whether fewer people are living on the street. San Diego required officers to offer shelter at every contact, then escalate. Overall homelessness down 14% in one year. Houston cleared encampments, paired enforcement with shelter, and held itself accountable to one number: people sleeping outside. Overall down 33% since 2020. Miami-Dade built courts that compel treatment for the seriously mentally ill instead of leaving them to cycle between sidewalk and ER. Recidivism dropped from 75% to 20%. As New York's own court system put it: treatment programs work better when backed by a credible threat of jail. Without it, courts "lack the leverage to induce offenders to opt for rigorous treatment." California spent $24 billion on homelessness over five years and poured massive "investments" into housing. Its own auditors couldn't evaluate whether it worked, as outcomes were never tracked. Austin just passed a homelessness plan that tracks meeting attendance, contract timelines, and staff training hours. It sets no target for reducing people sleeping on the street. It does nothing to make the street less attractive -- and by expanding services without enforcement, it may draw more people in.

City staff is working on some reforms to the rule that 2% of construction cost of new city buildings must go to art: 1) They want city manager to have power to adjust that 2% up or down.. This could be good for preventing stuff like $1.8m going to art on an expensive maintenance garage that nobody sees 2) They want to deduct design/planning/project management costs from the total 'construction costs' 3) They want to remove the $300k cap on art that Austin water has ( this will be very impactful as they are currently planning a $1.5b wastewater plant ) 1 and 2 have an uphill battle to get through the arts commission and council I think. Lots of heartburn on the arts commission when this was presented

Bill Maher is SO CLOSE to figuring it out: “I just don’t understand the American economy. I really don’t. I don’t understand how there could be so much wealth and I pay so much in taxes and it doesn’t seem to get to the people. I don’t even mind doing it. Over half, always, way over half and I never read about the homeless getting better. Anything getting better. At least not in a city like [Los Angeles, California].” One word, Bill: FRAUD!

One compromise/ reform that could end the standoff of DHS funding: ICE agents henceforth won’t wear masks in any situation where other law enforcement officers don’t wear masks, courthouses, the streets of our cites, etc. Masks are reserved for the lawless zone along the border where the cartels dominate.

Republican Senator Rand Paul tells @jmathieureports that ICE officers should not be wearing masks in cities where other law enforcement are unmasked. They speak at the Capitol bit.ly/4bs79Dc

@robbystarbuck I know someone who had the exact opposite. Her dentist said her teeth were fine, but one bothered her. The next dentist wanted to do a crazy amount of dental work. The third opinion was more moderate. I think there's more art to dentistry than we realize.

Always get a 2nd dental opinion. Years ago one told us that one of our kids had multiple cavities that needed fillings ASAP. I told my wife to leave for a second opinion. Next dentist said there were absolutely ZERO cavities. Some of the dentists out there are total scammers.
Grant Slatton@GrantSlatton

insane that we tolerate living in a society where you can go see one dentist and he's like "ya u have 13 cavities, will be $4000 to fix them all" then see another and he's like "that guy was full of shit and trying to scam you, you're fine" ???

The 150 medical students from Pakistan who just took residency spots from American students have 3 fewer years of education than US kids. In Pakistan, a MBBS degree is 5 years and is the equivalent of a US 4 year college + 4 year medical school degree.
