@tyromper I did this a few weeks ago. 50yo and did 6 sprints with no warmup although I'm not fat and my quad hurt. Maybe I need to do that warm up part but I feel ya. 40yd ALL OUT sprints feel different. Its almost euphoric.

@MattWalshBlog It doesn’t matter til it does. 50yo and ex cardio warrior. Always been lean and around 40yo I couldn’t drop weight like I used too. Went to MD had high BP, A1C 5.4 so it was either meds or give a crap about my health. I chose no meds. I can’t eat even close to what I used too

I’ve never followed a diet in my life. Never counted calories. I never look at nutrition labels. I’ve never starved myself. I don’t even go to bed hungry. I’m almost 40 now and I’ve never been fat. That’s because I exercise and I don’t overdo it on the sweets and fried food. It’s not a complicated equation.

It’s not complicated. Just don’t eat a lot of junk food or fast food, go easy on the snacks, get some exercise. You’ll be fine.

@MattWalshBlog They are attempting to get into good shape/health more efficiently which the data can help with. It is easier to get into a caloric deficit for example if you actually track how many calories you consume and how many you burn.

They reduce inflammation, reduce cancer, improve arthritis pain, reduce alcohol consumption, protect the heart independent of weight loss, stimulate beta cells in the pancreas, keep you from developing type 2, and generally reduce all cause mortality. 😮‍💨 So no, you can’t just “eat less” and get the same benefits.
