@farmingandJesus @Dlacp12 Dude speaks multiple languages and Lizzie disses him. Now that’s arrogance. Πρέπει να γελάσεις.

@farmingandJesus All generations will call me blessed, [except the Protestants, they hate the Catholics so much they can’t do it…they will make all kinds of excuses].

@dugout_doc @Catholic_bro "This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me." Matt 15:8
"They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate." Titus 1:16

@NoFriendOfWorld @Catholic_bro I love when Protestants prooftext the Bible.

The Thomas Massie loss is actually a win.
It took the President of the United States, a coordinated smear campaign, and $30M+ in record-breaking spending (much of it from pro-Israel groups) to barely defeat one sitting Congressman critical of endless foreign aid and lobbying influence.
Massie won younger (under 55) voters handily.
The Fox News, pro-Israel boomer coalition needed everything to hold the line.
Their grip is slipping and the future belongs to us.

So, as a former Protestant, I never realized how obsessed Protestants are with Catholic dogma, until I became Catholic. Is it an inferiority complex? Is it all pride of modernity and lack of humility (nobody tells me what to do)? Is it a demonic pull? Is it centuries of prooftexting and lack of knowledge of history and true Scripture? It certainly doesn’t come from Christ’s unity and love. There is nothing Christly about it. Do they firmly believe Christ died for our sins only to let 1550 years of Christs people die of wrongful teachings? Sad really.

@NoFriendOfWorld @Catholic_bro Sounds like you are judge and jury Charles. I will pray for you.

@dugout_doc @Catholic_bro Just trying to help save lost souls, Doc. There are many who at the last day will exclaim to Him, "Lord, Lord...." but they will be cast into the Lake of Fire. If you are Catholic, Orthodox, or wayward Protestant, that's your destiny.

Better re-read John 6. It’s the real deal. If it wasn’t they all wouldn’t have left him. Bread of Life not the bread of symbolic life discourse. Why is there only a bread of life sis purse and not a last supper? Bc by the time John wrote his gospel to the churches, they had been practicing the Eucharist for decades. That’s why it’s in the Synoptics. Bread of life is to validate it only, not institute it. I was a Protestant once. I read the Bible almost everyday, yet like most Protestants, I knew not what it really said.
English

@IchimokuSatoshi I don’t believe Jesus is a literal physical door either. I understand it’s spiritual and I do it it in remembrance of His sacrifice
English

@Konraddin @NoFriendOfWorld @Catholic_bro Tormented soul full of hatred. I’ll pray for him. Sad to see such things.
English

@NoFriendOfWorld @Catholic_bro Thank you for your prayers as well.

@Catholic_bro Catholics are unable to explain their teachings bc they only repeat lies their church & apologists tell them, which isn't teaching. & truly it's bc the Holy Spirit isn't found anywhere in R. Catholicism. Until a Catholic repents & starts following the real Jesus>>no Holy Spirit.
English

@sola_chad Wouldn’t want to be this guy on judgment day. Telling Christ he messed up before he came along will be a tough sell.
English

@rickbrennanjr Tell me you don’t know what you are talking about without telling me you don’t know what you are talking about. It’s just “magic?” But magic is okay as a term?

Protestants believe in the Lord’s Supper, where believers truly partake in the real presence of Christ by faith and receive the benefits of his once-for-all sacrifice—his body given and his blood shed for our salvation.
Eastern Orthodox Christians also affirm a real participation in Christ, though they explain it differently.
But nothing in Scripture requires the doctrine of transubstantiation: the claim that the bread and wine are changed in substance into Christ’s body and blood while the accidents remain. That precise definition emerged in the medieval period and was formally defined at the Fourth Lateran Council in 1215. It is a later scholastic explanation, not the universal teaching of the early church, and it is rejected by Protestants, Eastern Orthodox, and other non-Roman Christian traditions.

English

A true relationship with Christ requires keeping his commandments: Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and Love thy neighbor as thyself. In other words, faith is profoundly personal and equally ecclesial. It is loving Christ with your body and soul. Your soul is unified in the HS, your body is the body of Christ, given to us through the Church. Just as a marriage requires spiritual and physical connections, so to does the love of Christ. So yes, you need the Church that Christ gave us to truly worship Christ like it was meant to be, a marriage of Christ's faithful to Christ himself.
I was a Protestant for my entire life, and now I understand this, and I have never looked back. The Pope is Christ's vicar on earth. He is the guardian of the faith. He is not perfect. The Church is the "Holy Church of Sinners." A perfect body of Christ given by Christ, even in the presence of sinners. For where else should sinners go but to Christ's Church! That is who he tells us to dine with, and that is who he dines with! Amen!

@FightofFaith @Truth_matters20 So homosexuality is the same as venerating the Virgin Mary? Oh my...I have heard it all now. That has to "take the cake."
English

@Truth_matters20 Like a homosexual saying he is just is “close friends” with other “like minded males.”
English

@BryceD56062 @HwsEleutheroi If it is pure Anglican, if there is such thing, then I'm not sure VII is worth pointing a finger at. Seems as if so, I call your VII argument and raise you a Matt 7:13-15. ;-).
English

Which is what religion? It's easy to point fingers from the darkness. Yves Congar calls the Church "The Holy Church of Sinners." What this means is that the Church is Holy b/c of the HS, the congregation is not. So this can be said of all churches, but in of itself does not defile the Church. But to truly have a "faith" that is real, a faith is built from body and spirit, just as a person is built of this same substance, held together in "hypostasis." Just as transubstantiation, hellenistic terms to "describe" something does not make it Pagan, just as "pizza" is not made English bc of the language it is spoken in. But I digress and bring up several arguments. The other point is this: Faith is both profoundly personal (spiritual) and ecclesial (body), in order to be real within the realm of humanity. It's like a marriage in one's brain is not a real marriage. You must consummate (physically engage in) a relationship for a true relationship to exist (not sexually here just physically).

This post is a lie.
Documentable. Plain. Straight up.
NONE of the people pictured believe in sola scriptura. Period. That is too obvious to even have to comment on.
Shame on everyone lying about these things on social media.
Bishop@BishopJaxi
Same Bible. Different doctrines. Different churches. Different moral teachings. Different "gospels." The fruit of sola Scriptura is chaos, anarchy, and disunity. The one true Church is not found in Protestantism, because Protestantism is the antithesis of "one."

Christ is the Ark.
The RCC and EO argue that Mary is the Ark, but this misses the more important Christological typology, while giving cover to elevate Mary to a place Scripture never intended.
The Ark of the Covenant was:
- made from acacia wood and gold, which represent Christ's humanity and divinity (John 1:14)
- held the stone tablets with the law, representing how Christ would be the only One to ever perfectly fulfill the law (Matt 5:17)
- held manna, which was heaven-sent food given to the Israelites in the desert by God, representing how Christ is the true bread of life (John 6:35)
- held Aaron's rod, representing Christ's position of supreme high priest in God's Kingdom (Heb 4:14)
- covered by the mercy seat, where blood was sprinkled for the atonement of sins (Heb 9:11-14)
- covered by God's Shekinah glory: God's presence (Matt 1:23)
Mary carried Jesus for 9 months - a fantastic honor that no one else received. But we can't let this surface level symbolism overshadow the richer typology we see in Scripture.
Christ is a much better fulfillment here. Fix your eyes on Him as the Ark and the Mediator.

Ah yes, but why only read 1/2 of what the Fathers say? Why not go to the source? Reformers read through a "lens" and not the originals. The originals are devoutly Catholic, authentically Catholic and a true reading of them. I will send you whatever books you want, the real ones...if you want me to.
English

@dugout_doc @HwsEleutheroi Don’t overcomplicate things babe. Reading scripture with the fathers and reading scripture with the reformers are great books.

English

@farmingandJesus There is your problem. We were given 73. And yes, they mention it...

Non inspired doesn’t phase us.
The 66 INSPIRED books of the Bible are your worst nightmare. They prove your beliefs to be wrong.
