@kc_dos_siete @skisolo @JomboyMedia Simply not avoiding contact doesn't warrant ejection. The NFHS rulebook the umpires are officiating here literally lists a point of emphasis for malicious contact as having “intent to injure”- you have to label intent. There is no just slide rule.

@kc_dos_siete @skisolo @JomboyMedia He is standing straight-up. The catcher came in front of the plate at the last second. A collision isn't inherently malicious simply because they collide. What is malicious about the contact? Dropped shoulder? Forearm extension? It's not malicious.

Intentionally running over a catcher is literally the definition. He didn’t like pummel him but you have to slide and avoid contact you can’t run through a guy.

Wasn’t a better pitch. So after you said this about @KendallRogers I spoke with a few SEC umpires. They actually said trackman is the problem. It needs to be adjusted to professional measurements. No way that should be a strike. Just like Arrambide at TN @DSports24 #umpire #sec

@KendallRogers This isn't the mlb where it's adjusted to his height. Trackman is generic and not height adjusted. Do better.

OK, first of all the pitch was nowhere near the strike zone… secondly, the batter did not swing, and third the umpire never called it a strike. So it looks like the hitter just decided to start running for no apparent reason. And somehow he got away with it. It was like A. J. Pierzynski X 10. wtf???🤣🤦‍♂️
