Your brain doesn’t show you reality. It shows you whatever you’ve trained it to look for. Scroll negativity all night, suddenly everything feels hopeless. Look for reasons something won’t work, you’ll find unlimited. Same world. Different filter.

Full time job by day. Building my own thing by night. Finished this book in 24 hours. Now diving deep into persuasion psychology because understanding why people say yes matters more than any marketing tactic.

Been watching this man since I was 5 years old. Serbian like me. What people don’t see is that discipline at this level isn’t willpower anymore. It becomes identity. He didn’t resist chocolate for two years because he was strong every single day. He just stopped being the kind of person who eats it. That shift is everything.

Built a full marketing agency at 18. Website, team of 8, brand identity, everything. Zero outbound clients. Turns out building in private is just hiding with extra steps. Now I build in public. Slower, scarier, but at least it's real.

Learned this the hard way. Ran an agency and kept thinking about lowering prices to get my first client. Never got one. The problem was never the price. It was that I was so afraid of charging more that I never committed to delivering something worth more. Cheap prices attract cheap commitment from both sides.

If you're on your last dollar and struggling to get customers, you need to raise prices, not lower them. If customers are scarce, you have to make them count. Do WAYYYY more for them. And charge WAYYY MORE to do it.

@SahilBloom Started doing this without realizing it. Work at a SaaS company by day, build my own thing at night, train handball in between. Some days I crash at 11pm mid-sentence. Those are always the best days. The days I have energy left over are the ones where I know I held back.

I optimize for two things: Waking up energized and going to bed exhausted. The former means I’m doing things I enjoy with people I love. The latter means I did those things to the fullest extent of my ability. That’s my recipe for a good life.

I used to lose sleep over what people thought of me. Then I noticed something. The ones judging me the hardest were always the ones doing the least with their own lives. Once I saw that pattern I stopped giving them the power. Their opinion was never about me. It was always about them.

The moment you define yourself is the moment you stop becoming. "I'm a marketer." Now you can't see yourself as anything else. "I'm not creative." Now you never try. Labels feel safe. But they're just limits you volunteered for.
