First class on @TPExpressTrains Sheffield to Manchester. Three carriages on a Saturday afternoon when the Christmas markets are on. Incredible. Seat reservations requested for 6 first class tickets when booked a week ago but none given. Terrible service.

@EastMidRailway This has been happening for months. The seat reservations rarely work. On busy services it’s a nightmare with people sitting in seats that others have reserved. Unbelievable that it has only just been noticed.

@EastMidRailway As a train operator it’s your job to manage trains and drivers. On this particular service you frequently fail to do so. Most times when I’ve travelled on a Saturday I’ve had a similar experience. It is a very poor service.

@dwarnock99 Hi David, can you advise which service you're travelling on please? We aren't running trains between Sheffield and Liverpool today due to Industrial action but tickets are being accepted with multiple other operators. ^JG

@EastMidRailway Why is the Sheffield to Liverpool service so terrible? Too busy, not enough carriages and no chance of observing social distancing. To top it all off a bus replacement service back taking 3 hours to get home. Shocking service.

@EastMidRailway Travelled yesterday (Saturday) morning on the 1043. Every time I try to travel on a Saturday it’s the same story though. Tried to travel back yesterday evening and got the bus replacement service.
