@dyomides

Some GC dude you probably never heard of, and that's ok. Opinions are my own and all that jazz.

@RobButler Up until recently I didn't even know I could chat with colleagues from other institutions! They're just a little harder to find. Great feature to keep in touch with your grater GC family.

Message a colleague on MsTeams for an informal water cooler chat. It is always a great way to catch up on distributed teams.

My next adventure begins tomorrow at @TBS_Canada. We’re working on verified credentials. I am going back to OCIO 😀. #GCDigital

I love this platform and 5 years after leveraging it in a #GCDigital context I'm still amazed and impressed by its ability to continue to reach new heights and inspire others to approach algorithms and digital democracy differently. Kudos to @colinmegill and your team!!!

Does anyone have SharePoint IM #GC retention policy setup and configuration information? Some places use SharePoint for transient documents, and others use it as a depository. GCDocs is not used where I am.

I just threw together a scratchpad of thoughts, learning objectives, and possible outlines for a digital government for executives learning product that we're starting to build. Drop me a line if you're working on anything similar or want to weigh in. #gcdigital

@dyomides @supergovernance We have a few channels where the names are bilingual but most are unilingual. Ultimately we have no rules around channel names

#GCdigital folks, what guidelines, policies and approaches (ex: naming conventions) are you all adopting to standardize how your institution uses channels in MS Teams? Do you take a slack approach? One language? Both? Do you simply accept that it will never be accessible?

@isteadde @RobButler Not sure I understand your question @isteadde but to clarify mine I'm interested in hearing how other institutions have operationalized the use of MS Teams channels across it's workforce. Is it a free for all when creating channels or are there guidelines, naming conventions, etc

@barefoot_pivots You're absolutely right. How can we find ourselves involved in more meaningful and thoughtful change?

@barefoot_pivots thought you might enjoy this. I've always argued that we are missing out on the power of graphs. In complex policy spaces they could really help to better understand what kinds of things are happening. Here's a simple use case: miro.com/blog/features/…
