A lot of people in Iran, probably most, don’t like their overly religious government, but it doesn’t mean they’re trying to overthrow it. Just like most Americans right now don’t like Trump, and yet we’re not trying to overthrow him. If we left the Iranian people alone and stopped sanctioning them and threatening them constantly with trying to overthrow them, the people would make the change internally themselves like every other country. I hope one day they get the chance to do that on their own terms.
