@eber_hardt ND Studio is has focused on launching flashy pages for Trump branded projects instead of making improvements to existing government sites. The sites they’ve launched look pretty, but they aren’t well designed for their purpose.

You know, the Nazi’s also thought design and aesthetics mattered. They used design to sell their hateful ideology.
These sites aren’t even “gorgeous” or well designed. They’re all flashy landing pages, there is no deeply considered UX here.

You've probably noticed the website being shipped by the Trump administration are gorgeous. The reason for that is the National Design Studio, led by the Chief Design Officer of the United States. ...who is none other than AirBnB co-founder and modern design icon @jgebbia. Joe is one of the top 500 wealthiest people in the world. He doesn't need to be dedicating his time modernizing the 27,000 .gov sites. But in his words, aesthetics matter. "The digital touchpoints between the US government and the American people are important." I’m glad to see design once again being prioritized by the US government.

@eber_hardt I’m a designer, so yes I do. Aesthetics are a part of design, but you need to consider the purpose of the thing you’re designing. These sites look like generic startup landing pages.

This is why I believe supporting cast should be a tie-breaker between similarly productive candidates and not a whole argument for MVP. Because you can end up tying yourself in knots for a QB who’s offense wasn’t even good

I was the Justin Herbert vote. The guy had the worst offensive line in the NFL all season and despite that he was working miracles in almost every single game. Stafford's OL became 2/5ths as bad as Herbert's for 5 minutes and he became a turnover howitzer. He embodied 'value'.

I went into Target to see if the “Dump Him” sweater poster was still there (it is) but I noticed they amped up their Valentine’s Day display. I thought “Aww, well that’s sweet”… but then closer I realized they’re not promoting Valentine’s Day… They’re promoting GALentine’s Day! Why does Target want women to be single so bad? I have some ideas.
