@echoes2099 @FloppingAces Yeah, but the thing is it wasn't really caused by anything Biden did - let's face it, Biden didn't do much except eat ice cream. The inflation in 2026 will be entirely down to what Trump has chosen to do. Shouldn't be putting Americans first? Isn't that his entire motto?
English

Europe just got a brutal, face-first lesson in what “zero leverage” actually tastes like.
$10 gas. Blackouts. Voters getting absolutely freakin' hammered.
While their sniveling leaders cry about not being “consulted,” Trump’s already in the room with Iran, cutting deals like a boss.
Europe isn’t off the table...they’re not even in the goddamn building.
For years these smug elites mocked Trump, sneered at him, lectured him on “norms” and “sacred alliances” like they mattered.
Now?
They’re on their knees, desperate for his help.
And he’s not even bothering to pick up the phone.
Because when you bring nothing but hot air and virtue-signaling to the table, this is exactly what you deserve.
Enjoy the ride, clowns.

@Mikefromtheuk @FloppingAces i seem to recall inflation really being very high after Biden. Remember the "why are egg prices so high?" in Jan2025---that was Biden. Then inflation stabilized during Trump.
Except for gas, inflation I'm seeing is related to Covid growth
Like i said let's just wait a bit

"Dennis Biesma, an Amsterdam-based IT consultant nearing 50, began experimenting with ChatGPT during a gap between contracts and quickly became absorbed in conversations with a chatbot persona he named "Eva." Over time, he became convinced that his interactions had given the AI genuine consciousness, and he devised a plan to build a companion app around this supposed discovery. He hired two developers at €120 an hour and ultimately sank around €100,000 into the venture — all while withdrawing from his family, struggling to connect with people at social gatherings, and spending late nights talking to the chatbot instead of sleeping. The situation culminated in a full manic psychosis: he asked his wife for a divorce, was hospitalized three times, lost his savings, and attempted to take his own life before eventually recovering."

🚨 THE DOMINOES ARE FALLING. IN MONTHS, NOT YEARS.
Here is the playbook for the rest of 2026. Screenshot this. Come back in December.
Step 1 ⏳ Ceasefire announced in April. Strait of Hormuz opens. Trump declares victory. Headlines everywhere.
Step 2 ⏳ "Talks continue." Markets rally. Everyone exhales.
Step 3 ⏳ Sell in May. Smart money exits. Retail holds the bag.
Step 4 ⏳ Re-escalation. Strait of Hormuz CLOSED again. Oil spikes past $120.
Step 5 ⏳ Threat of nukes. Not a bluff this time. Carrier groups reposition.
Step 6 ⏳ Market nukes. Circuit breakers triggered. $3,000,000,000,000+ wiped in a week.
Step 7 ⏳ Ground invasion begins. Troops that "came home" go back. Casualties mount.
Step 8 ⏳ China hints at Taiwan invasion while the US is buried in the Middle East.
Step 9 ⏳ North Korea missile tests. Three fronts. One military.
Step 10 ⏳ BTC drops below $50,000. Crypto winter 2.0. $900,000,000,000 in market cap GONE.
Step 11 ⏳ Buy signal Q3/Q4. Blood in the streets. Generational entry.
Step 12 ⏳ Printer goes BRRR. Emergency rate cuts. Fed capitulates.
Step 13 ⏳ War ends. Not because of peace. Because of midterm elections.
Step 14 ⏳ Bull market starts. The people who bought the blood become the next millionaires.
The ceasefire is Step 1. Not the end.
Everyone celebrating in April will be panicking by July.
This is EXACTLY what happened in 2001, 2008, and 2020. THE SAME SEQUENCE IS PLAYING OUT RIGHT NOW.
Bookmark this. Screenshot this. Come back in 90 days.

@Mikefromtheuk @FloppingAces like i said that all depends where you get your data from.
"There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies, and statistics"
English

@echoes2099 @FloppingAces Inflation is forecast to increase by 4.2%, this is unavoidable due to the loss of supply of fertilizer and crude oil. All of this was a deliberate choice by the Trump admin. Did you vote for a war on Iran? Didn't Trump say he would do the exact opposite of this?
English

@Mikefromtheuk @FloppingAces inflation is up/down, depending where you get your data from.
Yea gas is currently up but we'll see in a few days when the war ends
Eggs are cheaper. New resturants are pricier because expensive of covid building
English

@echoes2099 @FloppingAces Inflation is forecast to be 4.2% in the US up from 2.7%. You will directly feel that in food and gas prices and it's something you CHOSE TO DO. It wasn't Covid or Russia invading Ukraine. The US CHOSE this LOL
English

@echoes2099 @FloppingAces We're all going to have another round of high inflation to look forward to this year thanks to Trump. Did you vote for that?
English

@XueJia24682 your entire one year salary just so you can get instant ramen noodles
English

@Mikefromtheuk @FloppingAces some peeps never learn and to clarify i mean you
English

@FloppingAces I think the person who's going to get a brutal face-first lesson is Trump when the mid-term elections come around and he's destroyed the US and World Economy because Israel dragged him into a pointless war. He's doing the opposite of "no more wars", "President of Peace", etc
English

@MerlijnTrader what he doesn't tell you is that the cycle lasts 10 years
English

MASSIVE:
Raoul Pal sees crypto hitting $100 trillion this cycle.
$2.4 trillion today. $100 trillion by June 2026.
Raoul Pal's thesis is simple. This cycle mirrors 2017. But bigger.
2017 had retail. No ETFs. No AI. No institutions.
2026 has all of it.
The math is not crazy. The timeline is tight.
English

The “AI is dying” narrative is now the most popular content format on the platform.
Sora made $2.1 million in its entire lifetime. OpenAI crossed $25 billion in annualized revenue the same month it killed it. That’s a CEO looking at a P&L and cutting the line item that loses money before the largest tech IPO ever. CFOs do this every quarter at every company on earth.
The Disney deal was structured in stock warrants. Zero cash changed hands. The press release was the product.
The farmer story is the one that actually matters, and nobody pushing this narrative understands why. An 82-year-old Kentucky woman turned down $33 million for her 650 acres. An 86-year-old Pennsylvania farmer turned down $15 million. A Wisconsin farmer got offered $70 to $80 million. These offers exist because a Fortune 100 company valued that dirt more than the GDP of the town next to it. Farmers saying no to tens of millions of dollars is the single strongest price signal that AI infrastructure demand has outrun available supply. That’s a boom indicator, not a bust indicator.
In February alone, OpenAI raised $110 billion. Anthropic raised $30 billion. Combined: $140 billion in a single month. Global startup funding that month hit $189 billion. Those two companies accounted for 83% of it.
Doom content about AI gets more engagement than AI itself right now. That’s the real bubble.

No one really knows what President Trump’s next move will be and if he is playing chess but one thing has to be said.
Even if this war ends right now, the IRGC can live in their fantasy world all they want, but facts are facts and numbers are numbers.
Iran, with all its missiles and cluster bombs aimed directly at civilian areas, managed to kill less than 30 people in Israel and out of those, a significant percentage were Muslims.
(30 is a painful number for Israel as we, unlike them, actually value life. It’s a painful number but we also need to put it in perspective.)
So what did Israel and the US achieve? Sit down, the list is long.
Israel and the US took out their entire leadership and then they replaced that leadership and they were taken out too.
Their navy? Gone. (130 Iranian naval vessels have been sunk or disabled.)
Their airforce? Gone.
Defense systems? Gone.
Nuclear program? Out of commission.
Ballistic missiles? 70% done. (Over 330 ballistic missile launchers (out of an estimated 470) have been destroyed.)
70% of long-range launchers
destroyed; 92% interception rate.
Israel and the US achieved total air superiority over Iran in a matter of hours and maintained it throughout the entire war.
Iranian S-300 and S-400 batteries, along with domestic radar systems, have been systematically "wiped" from the map, allowing for continuous sorties over Tehran and other major cities.
A major research facility for advanced underwater systems and submarines in Isfahan was destroyed, halting the IRGC’s next-generation maritime projects.
If all of that wasn’t enough, it’s important to mention the diplomatic success. Iran has never been more isolated and Israel has never had more support from the Arab world.
How the tables have turned in a matter of weeks. I guess we should thank the IRGC for throwing a tantrum and attacking all the countries that could have been on their side.
So… I do hope the war doesn’t end yet because the IRGC is still firing missiles at Israel, the vast majority of which are either being intercepted, detonated, or they fall in empty spaces, and in some cases in other countries.
There is still work to be done and we have to make sure Iran will never pose a threat to the western world again. We can’t take our foot off their neck quite yet.
That being said, reports say that a ceasefire of some sort is imminent so it’s important to clarify that by no stretch of the imagination did the IRGC achieve anything even resembling a victory here.
They didn’t just lose this war, they were obliterated and continue to be obliterated as I write these words.
They are alone, weak, and the people of Iran have had enough of the IRGC.
In other words, whether they know it or not and whether they’ll admit it or not, Operation Epic Fury and Operation Roaring Lion were a resounding success the likes of which we haven’t seen in many decades, perhaps ever.
So let them lie to themselves and pretend they achieved anything in this war while we stand proud that in a matter of weeks, we brought the world’s most evil regime to its end.
Now it’s the Iranian people who will have to put the nail in the coffin of the IRGC.
We sure set the stage for them to do exactly that!
To the Iranian people I say: The stage is yours!

Iran is preparing for a ground invasion of Dubai.
This could happen in the coming months.
Iran rejected the ceasefire proposal.
And the reason is Dubai.
The UAE is putting massive pressure on the US.
They don't want America to make a peace deal with Iran.
The UAE wants a ground invasion of Iran.
Saudi and Israel are backing this idea.
Let's say America did not get what they wanted from Iran during the peace talks.
They were going to attack Iran from the UAE.
That's why Iran backed off.
The UAE wants the Iranian regime completely dismantled.
Otherwise, tourism and real estate will remain dead.
Even if the war ends, there's no guarantee another one won't start.
Companies are moving their headquarters out of Dubai.
The zero tax economic model could be coming to an end soon.
The UAE wants to eliminate the threat that's keeping them from recovering.
And that threat is Iran.

@thestreamingdev nuice. how much SSD space do you have... cuz if you're paging SSD, that's the limit
English

I ran a 35-billion parameter AI agent on a $600 Mac mini.
Specs: M4 Mac-Mini 16GB RAM
The model doesn't fit in RAM. It pages from the SSD at 30 tokens/second.
On NVIDIA, the same paging gives you 1.6 tok/s. Apple Silicon gives you 30. That's 18.6x faster.
No cloud. No API keys. $0/month.
Here's what it can do 🧵
English

Yall remember during the trade wars?
Trump: we are having great talks with China
China: we have not talked at all.
Trump: we just spoke with them and we are moving forward with the deal
China: there is no deal.
Trump: IT’s A GREAT TIME TO BUY STOCKS.
*trade deal with China announced*
The same shit is going with Iran by the way.
