@DontscalebizGuy @mwmoedinger @wbridgefa Check out the book “drawing on the right side of the brain”. I’m no Picasso, but I literally could draw pretty decently after reading it. I couldn’t draw a stick figure prior. It’s one of the weirder things I’ve ever experienced.

Special hack for making friends and having cool experiences: carry a sketchbook and do sketches in public places. Not in a show-off way, just in a quiet "I'm having a negroni at a street cafe and sketching the scene around me" kind of way. Works every time! (Here is a sketch of some Roman ruins, by way of example. I talked to 5 random people that day! It's not about the quality or fanciness of the drawing...it's about capturing a moment in time that only you can capture...and sharing that with others)

Just wrapped up Undaunted Courage, the story of Lewis and Clark. I give it an 8/10. What Lewis+Clark and their 30-person team accomplished in 2.5 years is amazing. Reading this made me want to be tougher. What book next? Needs: American history, involves adventure
