@NFL_DovKleiman Had a similar conversation with the ticket rep trying to get me to renew my half-season tickets for the Pittsburgh PIRATES about 8 years ago.

𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚: The Dolphins called a fan to try to sell him season tickets the same day they traded away star WR Jaylen Waddle. The customer support agent was left SPEECHLESS. 😭😭😭

I remember people telling me that once you hit $100,000 invested, the “compound interest snowball” kicks in. Well, I hit $100k and have been consolidating sideways for seven months. LMAO, I got scammed.

BREAKING: Russia is now providing Iran with real-time intelligence on the locations of US military assets, including warships and aircraft in the Middle East, per the Washington Post. Russia calls for an end to the war, which it says is an “unprovoked act of armed aggression.”

Minnesota attempted 47 free throws compared to OKC’s 30. I asked Shai Gilgeous-Alexander if the narrative that OKC has a special whistle bothers him, especially on a night when the stats don’t support that: “I don’t care, not one bit. I can’t control how the refs blow the whistle ever. I’ve never been able to. Never been a ref. All I can do is play basketball, and that’s all I focus on. Try to win games and win championships.”

@wapitifever @MatrixMysteries We delivered my first child in 2023. My insurance was billed $24,998. That was just for the delivery and everything associated with it. That does not include our regular appointments throughout the pregnancy.

@MatrixMysteries Yep, my wife delivered our third child. We did not have maternity coverage and were cash pay. Total for appointments during pregnancy plus deliver was about $3k. With insurance, this would have been well over 10X

“I keep seeing patients charged MORE the moment insurance is used.” An American doctor says the SAME scan that costs $2,000 through insurance often costs $200–$300 in cash — same room, same machine, same images. “It’s like the price only EXPLODES once insurance gets involved.”

Cam Newton: "I've said this before and I'll say it again: I do not think Kevin Stefanski wants Shedeur Sanders to succeed in Cleveland... if I'm Shedeur or I'm a Shedeur Sanders fan, I would not want him to take the field. Because that's going to consistently be the display we're going to see."

Prime Minister Carney of Canada: The decades-long process of an ever-closer economic relationship with the United States is now over. And as a consequence, many of our former strengths as a country—more particularly, our economic strengths based on close ties to America—have now become our vulnerabilities

Dude would’ve LOVED the 70’s and 80’s. Home interest rates were over 18%! My parents (not boomers) had a rate over 16% at one point, thanks Jimmy Carter. All this whining that says it’s too expensive is just that: whining. You have it pretty good today, it’s just that you want more. I want more too, but I have the economic literacy to understand that nobody will offer loans without a profit margin that makes the risk you’ll default worth it. I understand that the rate is what it is because Jerome Powell is pissed at Trump. The issue is NOT capitalism and the solution sure as hell isn’t socialism or communism. Any meddling with the free market (see Jerome Powell, above) will always harm the market. You know you can also save money and pay cash. People do that.

This is going to blow your mind “Me and my wife went and did the pre approval process for a mortgage loan yesterday and what the f*ck are you talking about” “We're looking at the numbers, looking at our income, looking at our credit, and they have us at $450,000 — They have our mortgage after PMI, after insurance, after taxes; at $4,636 a month. What the f*ck are you talking about” “For the average American, this is way f*cking far out of reach” Interest terms in this country are out of control and should be federally illegal A $450,000 home now costs $1,668,960 after interest and fees on a 30 year mortgage in America Total cost: Principal ($427,500) + Interest ($897,840) + Taxes/Insurance/PMI ($343,620) = $1,668,960 You just paid $1,668,960 for a $450,000 home… This is how much it costs to buy a home in one of the most affordable states in America, Texas

This man is a police officer who makes $70k per year He says after taxes he gets about $4k per month but 1 bedroom apartments are all $2,400 per month in his area. Mortgagees are even more, after bills he has nothing left He’s moved back in with his parents and sees no future “And I honestly, I'm discouraged. I'm discouraged. I have a decent job. My job is inherently kind of dangerous -/ And before you're like, well, you can work overtime and details. Yeah, dude, I don't want to work my life away. I have a lot of things I like to do outside of my job. I want to spend time with my family and hopefully I have my own family someday and I want to actually see my kids — I just feel like I'm f*cked. Like I'm f*cked.” The cost of housing is a national emergency in America and nobody in power seems to care

1,000 miles in with the new Tesla Model Y! It’s the greatest value vehicle on the planet. The suspension is buttery smooth, tons of storage, so efficient, FSD is incredible and the sound system ROCKS. It’s amazing and it’s one of the best selling cars in the world for a reason.

@Harpaggie2001 @SawyerMerritt Fair assessment. My insurance increased $10/month from a Jaguar E Pace. Tires are more expensive until you realize that you do not need to pay an extra $400 for noise cancelling technology. I also installed my Wall Charger myself. Depreciation is real - caused by EV credit

@marmark23 @HoopMixOnly Foul baiting to score shouldn’t be a skill. It has watered down the game. Also, the main objective is to WIN - which Harden cannot do.

@eddi317 @HoopMixOnly That’s fine being able to draw fouls is a skill. Shooting a high percentage from the free throw line is a skill. You guys forget the main objective of the game is to score as many points as possible
